What’s funny is that for the “Massive boy” (Emperor Bulblax) and by extension the “Ultra Massive Boy” (Sovereign Bulblax), this was the strategy to defeat them in the original _Pikmin._ Except instead of eating the bomb rock, you can also trick it so that the bomb rock explodes on his tongue which causes the tongue to comedically recoil and hit his face.
