Grim Matchstick is underrated, and I thought the root pack was much easier than the bouncing slime. There's more need to dash and position yourself so you don't get crushed, and the telegraphs for where he will land after jumps aren't very clear at first.

In sally stageplay, To dodge the big wave, You notice that every big wave spawns right after an meteor spawns? You basically keep shooting the meteor until it opens up, And there's a star in there. Wait until the wave comes and then parry the star and avoid the wave with the parry jump boost.

Use twin heart, super 2, spread shot, and charge shot. Use charge on phase 1, and feel free to dish out specials, since you won’t be at risk of not having enough for a super at the end. Switch to spread for the last 3 phases, and simply focus on dodging and shooting. Conserve specials as you want full cards for the final phase. When phase 4 comes, use the super immediately and dish out the most possible damage while doing so. Dying at the final phase is awful, which is why you really wanna make sure you don’t let it happen.

Cagney Carnation is one of the easiest to S-Rank. Crouch in the bottom left corner and use the chaser or crack shot if you have dlc (I know this comment was probably made before the dlc, but still), this way, the only thing can damage you is his charge attack and his last phase. The time might be a problem, but as long as you do a lot of damage on his last phase, you should make it in time.

​@@daniellesmith6877 I've never understood how not being able to use those shots in plane fights is an issue, since the two you already have work well against them. And for example, it's not like you can use a roundabout-type shot in plane fights since you can't aim backwards. You don't need any more shots because the plane bosses are only ever on the right side of the screen (they can be on the bottom as well like in Wally's final phase, but you just need to switch to bombs). They don't move around a lot like ground bosses. Also technically you can use things from the shop against plane bosses. Every single charm works in plane fights.

On King Dice, you can also go behind his hand without taking ANY damage while you hit him. So basically you don't have to do anything. Another tip: On the skeleton from Phantom Express, keep the cart at the left, and move your character all the way to the right. Do. Not. Move. It is literally the perfect spot, no matter where he slams his hands down.

My list: #20: Goopy Le Grande: He’s predictable and its easy to get your ultimate attack. #19: Werner Werman: Predictable, easy to dodge. The only part that was’nt super easy to me was the fire part. #18: Ribbit and Croak: They’re really easy, since the attacks are easy to dodge. The only problem for me was the Hadokens and Wind. #17: Baroness Von Bon Bon: Really easy for me, and the attacks were just... Decent for me. #16: Sally Stageplay: Smoke dash completely nullifies the difficulty of Sally. The husband is harder for me, but He’s still easy. #15: The Devil. The devil is super easy to dodge, the spider thingy attack was kinda difficult for me, but the minions were way too easy. #14: King Dice’ Servants: Each servants are easy in their own right. But also difficult. The smoke guy’s teleportation is kinda troublesome, and the Russian is fast. But thats really it. #13: Captain Brineybeard: The barrel on the top was the main trouble for me. and the Shark was really really unpredictable for me. The laser from the ship is not the hardest, but its atleast something. #12: Cala Maria: There is a window where you won’t get hit by the Petrification. That is also where you can hit Cala, and thats the reason Cala is’nt higher on my list. #11: Beppi the Clown: The balloons and the Train failed me 50% of the tome. The weirdo horse was way too easy, but the Carosel and the Penguins were not that bad for me. #10: Cagney Carnation: Difficult because of the thorn floor for me, just killed me way too often. #9: Hilda Berg: The constellations were the hard part. The first phase was way too easy, The moon phase was insanely difficult for me. #8: King Dice: The amount of parries in the fight was way too much. I was able to release 2 ulti attacks. #7: The Root Pack: I wanted to spare the onion, but the Carrot and the Purple Carrot together was way too hard for me. Gg, NO RE. #6: Djimmi the Great: Idk why this guy was hard.... #5: Beeface Honneybutt: I thought we had to dodge the honey, but the Airplane was the real trouble for me. #4: Dr. Kahl’s Robot: The diamond was so hard for me, plus the cogs and the bullets, the heart was difficult for me too, and the spinning head was not actually that difficult. Plus the walls! SO F***ING DIFFICULT! DR. KAHL YOU LITTLE PIECE OF ***T! #3: Wally: The rockets and the eggs were pretty easy, but the child and the metal was way too difficult for me, I really hate him.. #2: Grim Matchstick: The fire and the tail together was hard.. And the 3 Heads were insane. And the tongue and the fire ALWAYS HIT ME! I hate this fight as well. #1: The phantom express: Everything about this fight was hard. The heads, The skeleton, the Ghost, and the Train. Oh god, it was so difficult. I HAD 1 HEART AFTER THE GHOST! And I died to the skeleton. I had to use the extra heart to kill the ghost at 2 hearts, and then another heart lost by the skeleton. I TRIED OVER 100 TIMES, and won ONCE!!! The heads were the easiest part, and then the train kills me. I got lucky with this f***ing boss.

Here’s my thoughts on your ranking on the bosses 19. I Definetly agree. It took me one try to beat him AND one try to get an S rank. What an easy boss 18. Also agree. This boss is super simple and spread just destroys them. 17. Eh, this one was kind of hard for me but, I got used to it pretty easily. 16. Pretty decent boss, devils are super easy, tigers are difficult and Snakes are easy. The first and second phases are easy. 15. Yes I agree, pretty easy boss. 2nd stage is pretty hard for me sometimes. BUT THE BABIES SUCK 14. I love this boss. I love how it took a break from all of the hard bosses in Inkwell Isle 3. And it’s pretty easy. 13. This one was difficult. My friend made it easier cuz he beat the boss with me. The 5 blue attack SUCKS THO. 12. I HATE THIS BOSS SOOOOOOOO DAMN MUCH. THIS BEE CAN DIE. IT’S SOOOOO DIFFICULT. AAAAAAAAAAA. 11. Decent, all of the bosses are super easy but, the 4th one is the most difficult for me. Perrying the cards are meh. 10. THIS BOSS CAN ALSO DIE, IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO BEAT THIS BOSS. 9. This boss was soooooo difficult for the first time I beat him but, he was pretty decent for me the next times. The 3rd stage with the horses are just terrible. 6. Another fun boss. This one was pretty easy, but was difficult without the bomb. 5. This boss is pretty easy. Phase one is easy, except for the cats, stage 2 and 3 are easy, stage 4 and 5 are meh. 4. Don’t kill me but, this boss is EASY. The first stage is Definetly the hardest, the 2nd stage is easy peasy and the 3rd stage is also pretty easy cuz there’s now Perry’s. 3. I sorta believe you, this boss is pretty difficult. The 1st stage made me die cuz it was difficult because of those STUPID PUMPKINS. 2.5. OH MY GOD I HATE THE TUTORIAL, I CANT GET PAST THAT DAMN 2nd WALL AAAAAAA. 2. This boss is easy, except for the 2nd stage. his son can die. 1. This boss is decent, but mostly hard. Pufferfish and Ghost Pirates are pretty hard for me. Still a pretty decent fight.

you have the weirdest taste ever in my opinion XD... I think the number one hardest boss he put there was actually one of the easiest in the game, the bee was also pretty easy compared to other bosses, but king dice is much harder in my opinion. Bosses 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 in the king dice fight are ok but the rest are very difficult (of course easier than regular bosses, but for mini bosses they were really hard) and king dice himself in my opinion is possible only if you save like 4 hearts or have someone to revive you. Parrying the cards may be one of the hardest parts in the game in my opinion. I barely managed to parry one card, so like 5 in a row?

I'm not kidding on this. I made it to Cala Marie on regular mode and beat her in 2 tries. That shows how big of a gap between regular and expert is.

Same, it wasn’t until I beat the game on expert that I thought she was difficult. I still beat her second try on expert too, but it’s pretty annoying to S rank.

Just finished S ranking every boss. It is so easy now with the "Divine relic" from the DLC as you can smoke dash, parry for more hearts, and use every shot at the same time. This allowed me to S rank Cala Maria in 3 attempts and Wally Warbles first try. The Devil on the other hand took me over 20 attempts and Rumour Honeybottoms over 30 so I think they deserve to be top 5 not bottom 10 💀

I don’t even play Cuphead, but I think I should. I love how they used the old 1920’s cartoon art style and revamped it. And it has such smooth movement. Such a visually pleasing game
