F for my man Gus, I really thought he was gonna live, dude has done nothing but get shit on by coworkers, and even tried to warn Jack about messing with things he knows very little about

You left out the part where Abraxas says “abracadabra” to Carmichael right before he dies. That was definitely one of the best parts of the movie 😂

And jack delory was never seen again. My guess is after that night he was probably "rotting" somewhere in prison or an insane asylum.

David dastmalchian has said he thinks Jack either killed himself before the police got there or is currently in an asylum staring at the walls

To be fair if the defense played me the last five minutes of the show and I was on the jury I’d probably find him not guilty lol
@MawileMage6 ай бұрын
I think with the footage presented as is to the investigators, Jack is unlikely to be convicted of anything. But yeah, he might be committed to an asylum or he just lived the rest of his life quietly alone with his sins and guilt.

Or maybe he did kill himself with the dagger before the police were able to come on time according to David Dastmalchian

The worst part is how the shock of being split down the middle makes her lucid again but all she can do is cry & scream from the pain for a brief few seconds

Yeah, I really felt terrible for her. Yes, she had the demon inside of her, but that wasn’t her fault! She was just a kid made solely for the purpose of being a sacrificial lamb. She didn’t deserve any of this.

Man....what sucks is I truly think Gus would have left with those crew members that had left right before the final commercial break ended if he wasnt so damn loyal to Jack. Jack may have been a desperate, stupid man, but he was a good man at heart, albiet a foolish one; and that want to trust and help Jack is what kept Gus around too long. Carmicheal i honestly believe would die regardless: his firm disbelief in everything wouldve gotten himself killed. June would *never* leave Lily. But Gus.....fuck man, he was the most preventable death if he had just decided to say no and leave Jack to the ruins.

I genuinely enjoyed my time with this movie. Ignoring the elephant in the room involving specific splash screens I felt the movie had great pacing and build-up. That might not be everyone's thing, but I honestly think that last 10 minutes was absolutely worth going through the rest of the movie for. Helping that is that I do believe the rest of the movie is pretty interesting and gives insight to these characters, especially Jack. It wasn't just build up or suspense for the sake of it. It was also to have us get to know these relatively complex individuals who met their unfortunate end that fateful night.

Nah I get what you’re saying, but a friendly reminder shudder from the movies I’ve seen (V.H.S 98 and 99) I think are supposed to have that cheesy “no budget” effect you’re saying, don’t get me wrong it looks cheesy, but I think that’s the idea, as for the movie, I personally think it done good, they didn’t overuse the whole demonic presence till the end, I’m pretty sure too much of it, and it probably would’ve been boring.(sorry for the paragraph😅)
