11:27:43 Its interesting that you didnt catch this, but this character does have a sort of arc between undertale/deltarune. in undertale they're portrayed as male, seen in hotland as an admirer for mettaton. however they're also frowning. in the pacifist route, they're given metattons dress, which makes them happy. then in deltarune they're seen as a female waitress. I always liked that detail.

ayy new thing to watch, hello Jaru :D (also for the annoying dog, i think the silhouette should disinclude the black outline, as thats only there to help it stand out. You barely notice the outline when you actually see the dog. To give some credit to the monstrous-ness of the Dreemurrs + Ralsei, I think the idea that they are strictly goat monsters is somewhat oversimplifying them. They always struck me as being based on Chimera, which are monstrous fire breathing creatures which would typically be portrayed as lions with an additional goat head, and a snake for a tail. They clearly have a goat head, but they all have paws, like a lion, and Asgore could pretty easily be described as having a mane, which Toriel and Asriel didn't have on account of being female and children respectively (admittedly if hyperdeath Asriel was supposed to be an adult you would expect a mane there too). While not quite fire breathing, they are known for using fire magic. The biggest stretch is probably the snake attribute, but I've always thought that the fangs that the dreemurrs have are much longer than the fangs you would expect of a lion, being more similar to snake fangs. How much credit you get for being a re-imagination of a famous Greek monster is up to personal preference though.

Read more for a Trashy review Trashy should've been S Tier lmao Goals - Supposed to be a Trash Bin that is super outgoing but fails to make friends (it's okay Trashy I'll be your friend), the eyes and very wide mouth show the sillyness of Trashy that supports the outgoing part, appears to be slightly deranged however it has failed to make me fail at wanting to be friends with it. Scoring on the basis of being a silly character that shouldn't make friends - 0.75 Character - The wacky expression with eyes, a large wide mouth, and open cartoon hands convey perfectly that Trashy is a silly fun darkner - 1 Uniqueness - Compared to other Deltarune Characters there are not many with such dramatic expressions and goofy eyes, otherwise looks like a children's drawing - 1 Silhouette - If we're doing Deltarune Characters it is clear who it is, on the general scale you could make a safe guess at a cartoon container of some kind - 1 Color Palette - Not too much risks taken but the Greyish Green is soothing and you could stare lovingly into Trashy for hours without needing to look away - 1 Really great video and can't wait for future Deltarune content, (36 hour 3 part tierlist at the end of Deltarune???)

You probably have devoted more meaningful time and thought (people who just fight jevil every day until a new chapter releases may have objectively spent more time thinking about deltarune its not in any meaningful way) than anyone else in the world. It's insane how much just 1 person can say about these characters and worlds. Doug dimadone mole is peak design don't lie to yourself There might actually be a more meaningful connection to the ralsei spamton dummy, the item you get for fighting spamton neo is the puppet scarf which can only be equipped to ralsei, the dealmaker is a pair of glasses and while they can be equipped to everyone they seem "made" for ralsei since he alreadu wears glasses, during the spamton quest is also where susie steals ralsei's glasses. Ralsei is quick to disregard spamton while not having any comment on jevil. Not sure what to make of this, i'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter

Thank you very much! That's an interesting thought about the Ralsei and Spamton dummies. It's clear that Spamton resents being a puppet, while Ralsei, who seems to know a lot that he's not letting on, is chill. So, I reckon it's tied to the theme/timeloop. Spamton was driven mad by not having meaningful choices (hates being a puppet), while Ralsei accepts his situation and chooses to make the best of it (is at peace with being a puppet). Interesting detail! Thanks for pointing it out!

The idea that the secret bosses (or important gaster assocated characters) repersent the stages of of grief is something I and others have clung onto for a while but with both ralsei and jevil representing "acceptance" it seems less likely now. (and the fact that there are usually only 5 stages of grief)
