Hey y'all. Thanks for watching this video. I made this one for fun and I'm happy that it's gaining a little more traction, because I love doing rankings for Disney Channel franchises. Anyways, I'm seeing a lot of the same comment from a lot of people so I guess I'll address some things. 1. I was 10 when Descendants 1 came out. I am now 19. So I legitimately GREW UP with these movies. Descendants 1 and 2 are basically childhood classics to me, where with 3 I felt like I grew out of the films a tiny bit but I still thought it was fine. 2. Saying I think a song is dumb or corny is not a dig at people that like the song or the filmmakers and actors, it just means I don't personally like it that much and it isn't my taste. Everyone has songs that they don't like, not every style of music is going to be for you, it's just a given. 3. I think I'm a tiny bit harsher because it's from a place of love. Again, I grew up with this franchise, so it's basically like bashing a childhood show that looking back is a little dumb. And I'm not saying Descendants is dumb, even though in some ways it is, I'm just saying I have that connection to the movies where it feels fine. 4. I love that people are disagreeing with my list. Music is subjective like I said, and some songs are bound to be lower or worse to some people. So I actually want this to continue, it's nice hearing what people disagree with in this ranking, just be civil about it. Saying that I'm stupid or can't write music because I said a Sofia Carson solo song in Descendants isn't my favorite is not civil. 5. I've studied music since the 4th grade and I've studied film since the 6th grade, so I look at this both from a song perspective and from a movie perspective. 6. Don't get me started on Descendants: The Rise of Red. If this maybe gets 10K views, I'll maybe update this video with The Rise of Red songs, but just expect a lot of The Rise of Red songs to be near the bottom (I really didn't like this film if you can't tell) Anyways, that's kinda it.
