Starting gen 3, you should start having a specific target of what mega digimon you want. Some megas cant combine, and you want your mega digimons to combine mid-battle. Tips- Gallantmon and any of the other male members of the 13 royal knights can combine into gallantmon crimson mode

If you're very efficient, you can do that and beat the main story by gen 2, but I recommend playing the game in a more laid back way, otherwise it becomes a grindfest. I don't think you can do it in one gen, though. There are too many people to recruit.

The original greymon? get an agumon with 14400 hp, 1500 str, 1500 sta, over 20g, less than 3 mistakes, over 50 bond and 15 victories

if you started with Pokemon I recommend Digimon World DS since is closer to Pokemon... and then Follow up with the PSP Digimon Adventure game... it takes place on the first seasons of the anime and then you can jump to Cyberseulth and World: Next Order! even Survive (the last one is more focused on the story) or you can do as Jaiden and start on a game I've heard nobody suggest to start for a reason... the rest of the games on Digimon are Smash and """"RPG"""" talking about the first 4 Digimon Worlds... serviceable games but have either A) weird mechanics or B) become more grindy but if you like to play something different and you love to explore in the RPG and make as many sides quests you can I am pretty sure you can deal with it since most of them offer side quests and over 150 Digimon to get that should keep you busy until you feel ready to keep the story going ALSO! World Dawn and Dusk are the sequels of World DS and you should play World DS first since the first minutes of the games assume you already played World DS since the Dungeons and Quest are more complicated

The next Story game is centered around the Olympus Twelve, so hopefully that will mean giving them 3D models and enough public spotlight that both Coronamon's and Lunamon's primary family lines will get to be in the next World game after that!

Digi evolution items. From rookie on, you can it evolve with the items up to mega. However. I doesn’t change the stats. So you got a very weak mega. Also training said mega will get shite stat increase and battling also give shite stat increase

Don't get me wrong I like Digimon a lot but the biggest problem with this whole series is just they have been using the same Digimon forever they add like 1-3 new ones each game tweak something here or there or something change the battle system where Pokemon no matter the flaws at least each gen has a bunch of new stuff..... How many times and different ways do we have to earn the same Digimon give us new

Not everything must be similar, Digimon has always been this way since the beginning. You don't really understand this series if you keep comparing it like that. Beside, video games aren't the main focus of this series. The main focus and centre of this series is on the Digivice V-Pet and TCG. New things always release on those first before being released to other media. Digimon video games are mostly created to see how Digimon from other media will fare in video games. Unlike Pokémon that release new gen every few years, Digimon only releases new gen when it's necessary. Digimon handles new gen differently from Pokémon, when they created a new gen it must be something that would run for a long time, unlike Pokémon with how every gen only lasts for a few years before being replaced by another new gen.
