If it’s true what Grandine said then Prime Ignia is leagues above Acnologia. The dragon fire king took an arm of acnalogia in his weakest form, a thing literally no one could do before him. In his strongest form he would just eat him alive, but then the story would have just ended there. They needed to nerf him unfortunately.

Depends really. We currently haven't seen any of the Dragon gods full power and Acnologia was still trying to manage the massive amount of time magic he absorbed from the Rot... So I would say from what we have seen so far in the Manga and today's current ch, it would go something like this: Acnologia pre Rot(ravine of time)=>Unsealed Dragon Gods. I'm 110% certain Mashima will turn this upside down in later chapters, but for now this is what I believe.

Depends which version They could probably beat him extreme difficulty, if we're talking about pre-SBT Acnologia, since that is the Acnologia that Elefseria is talking about. The fact that Elefseria didn't know that it was Natsu who beat Acnologia, he probably also didn't know about the Space Between Time. Meaning that the only version of Acnologia that Elefseria knows of is the one from a hundred years ago. SBT (Space between Time) Acnologia is the most powerful in the verse, so he would beat any of the Dragon Gods imo.

I'm more intrigued on the guild master who is a Dragon and gave the job for the 100 year quest, he seems extremely suspecious and what is the Law Dragons power, if they can wish for anything they could wish for the Dragons to return for dead people to come back such as in Irene's case and Wendy who may wish her back for reasons we don't know and the 100 year quest is progressing a bit too fast since they are already on the last Dragon God. My guess is they all somehow get their power back and turn rogue in which they need to beat all five at the same time.

If everything was supposed to be "correct" it's easy to explain. Natsu won vs Acnologia who is an Arcane dragon by using an Arcane attack. It had been shown that seperate attacks of all types had no effect on him. Only by fusing all their power it became an Arcane attack which he is vulnerable to, it was so powerfull it destroyed him. You can clearly see the fist hitting Acnologia being a rainbow of the different types of their powers which can be seen as Arcane magic. i've said it before, look at Lux in League of legends, she's an arcane mage, her ult is a laser.. it's white from afar but when you dissect the ult it's actually a rainbow full of the same colours. It's pretty much like that wherever you look for Arcane. If stated that the dragon gods are as powerful as Acnologia, fine. yet they'll never be able to beat him simply cuz seperate attacks wont affect Acnologia. it's like putting out fire with fire.. It would just be an endless battle and the winner would be decided by a truce because they both have to shit urgently, which means there was no winner. That's all i wanted to say

Acnologia was never defeated, it was just BSed to death, but even if it was, it is so annoying to see Natsu, who is supposed to be the one who beat him, struggle against any living thing that challenges him, for the first time, and then go around and fight entities equal to acnologia... thats just to stupid
