How was your relationship with your parents? We're you able to see their pain as your daughter asks of you to see. It is hard to bear responsibility for our past actions, however long ago, and the pain they may have caused as we feel we weren't ourselves due to the drugs or alcohol, the pain we suffered as a child, it is us who is the victim and even tho we know we caused pain to our children, it hurts more than anything we think we can bear. While we try to hide from it we give it a power over us and our relationships so we are stuck in our hurt and cannot heal. If we acknowledge our mistakes and ask forgiveness it finally sets our souls free to truly love those who deserve it, the ones we brought into this world, and the ones who gave us life to be able to do that. Our path to peace is through forgiveness of self and of those we feel are attacking us. It may feel easier to blame your daughter for the attacks, but to truly see and feel the pain behind it, so she can see you acknowledge and respect her hurt also will allow you both to heal and wouldn't a loving relationship without the resentment be worth the short term fear of facing it. Have faith in God you were meant to hear this to bring your hearts back to Him through love for each other. God bless..

Gavin, I honor you in the spirit for being so obedient and sensitive to the voice of God. I was struggling to sleep due to certain issues on my mind. The Lord specifically told me the naysayers, the evil grasp of the enemy over certain areas for long periods of time is broken as I prayed with you. I once again allow Jesus to take the wheel and am believing for a mighty breakthrough in selling my property within a week. I know this will happen as you confirmed the song of praise... Hebrews(which maybe the most Misunderstood book in all of Scripture) says by ONE Sacrifice We were Sanctified ONCE - FOR ALL - FOREVER - Sanctify means to restore something to the Function for which it was made or Designed - Man is so Engineered by God that the LIFE of the Creator Is INDISPENSABLE to the Creature - It takes God to be a Man - That is What the Father sent Jesus to do - In Mark 7:14 - 23 Jesus told the Jews that NOTHING from the Outside could Defile Anyone but only that on the inside - He then named a long laundry list (no pun Intended) of what comes from inside our heart and THOSE Things defile us yet Jesus spoke of them in CONTRAST to the Outward Ceremonial Cleansing from their Tradition - Jesus Said that He HIMSELF Is the OBJECT OF OUR FAITH and He Will Not Only Save Us but Also FREE Us from ALL that Defiles Us

Amen. My dad died on the 7th and it has been very hard. I no longer have a family, as those that are left have no love in their heart for me. I'm trying to move on from their abusive and toxic tactics. I hope that you're correct, that after all of this is over and everything is settled, I truly hope that I no longer see them again. They have been toxic narcissistic people my entire life and have no love in their hearts. I prayed for forgiveness for them and for God to make my heart whole again.
