World of Goo 2 was a blast from beginning to end, and these final 4 levels prove that in such a beautiful way. Thank you, ‪@KyleGabler‬ and everyone who worked on World of Goo 2 for making this absolute masterpiece of a game! You guys are truly amazing!

I think the reason wog and wog2 both end with new worlds of goo is because of the metaphors in the story; the devs confirmed in wog1 the story represented the development of the game with WoGCorp parodying publishing corporations, so the gooballs with the eyes finding another planet free of humans likely represented the devs finding the best way to publish their indie game, and wog2 seems to continue that theme with the whole “overdone franchises” thing in chapter 4, so I think the idea with wog2 ending with the observer realizing the world changed too much but then creating his own goo worlds represents the idea that we can’t recreate things from our childhood but we can take inspiration from them to make our own worlds to shape other people’s childhood in the future
