Quads . I was on the tournament right before th bubble I had pocket 77s your favorite hand. So I played cause of you !!! Lol any ways flop come 7 6 2 I checked and other guys goes allin thinking I have A K or A Q and I snap called and he shows pocket 88s .. turn 8 river 8. I bubble the tournament and left the building with everyone clapping....... what's a butuel feeling that was... lol yeah that's my story. 😂😂

Same easy fold for me as well, but she was heads up with Doug and the way he plays you never know. you also had 2 aces on the board so she's thinking removal for the board less likely he will have a ace but with the king out that would of done it for me. she did have showdown value with her snowmen so 33% chance 1 out of 3 times calling with her value will win. idk that's just how i think only played a little but iv watched over 200 hours of all of these players.

These are the reasons I think she called: 1 She was getting 2:1 which means she had to be right 1/3 of the time to break even. 2. He checked the flop making it appear less likely to her that he had an over pair. Most people will bet with AA or KK. 3. His body language may not have influenced her, but he certainly gave nothing away and appeared to have a decision to make, at best making bluffs more likely. 4. There are 16 combos of AK and only 12 combos of AA and KK, even including QQ JJ TT there are nearly as many bluffs as value as more bluffs if we include AQ. It is certainly possible he started with AK. 5. She unblocks all of these bluffs as she has no Q,K, or A. 6. People are certainly capable of repping overpairs with AK on a board like this, and she has certainly seen people go all in with AK when they missed. 7. Xuan was out of position, and checked the flop and turn making it look like she didn't have much and almost certainly not a set. This made her range appear to be weaker pairs, and shoving vs these middle pairs is perhaps a good strategy for AK, because it may get folds a good percentage of the time. 8. Based on the play, she felt he had a bluff more than 1/3 of the time, or felt it was close to 1/3 of the time and wanted to gamble. Of course, if he had AK he would then have 13% to hit one of his 6 outs. 9. Another advantage of her call is that she discourages people from trying to bluff her. You mentioned it was an easy fold for you, so for you to win with a pocket pair vs AK played in this way, you would have to check a set twice, because if 88 is an easy fold so almost everything that JJ beats.

the best way with 88 vs raises is call since you lose to so many hands. Xuan should fold b4 flop AK vs JJ on a 444 flop is an A a K or a 4 which the commentator missed to say a 4. it seems Xuan has no sense of danger, it might be because of that, she hates to fold. And like most lady players, chase a way too often. she can win a hand or 2 here and there with luck, but no way she wins vs those sharks in a long run. and she played too many bad hands in a raised pot, like 5 10 off
