Vents doesn't give a 5% boost like you think. It only boosts crew effectiveness/skills by 5%. This translates to a 2.7% boost to specific tank actions like reload, view range, etc.

Personally I feel that 4 EQUIPMENT slots without and penalty is what we need. One thing that can cause new players under performing is misunderstanding how important the advanced targeting system is. Plus that should be standard no matter what unless we had a hardcore mode. Besides it’s not “ OP” to have 4 if everyone has the same ability and keeps the targeting system.

@@oneway707 well the silhouette outline is key for starters. Shows which way the enemy is facing, if their looking at you, shows through foliage and ridge lines, rocks and other obstacles. The hit/penetration chance helps out new players and choosing shot placement. You need to use it on EVERY tank tbh. It’s a complete game changer mechanic that should never be turned off unless like I said a hardcore mode is your thing. Just saying

Advanced suspension doesn't actually actually effect fall damage. It boots your suspension to absorb more impact from fall damage. This means you still take full fall damage if you land say front first or on your back.

Just 1 question. Why do you not use all 4 slots. Get rid of the 4th slot and put something else in. Who needs extra targeting on a tank, you should know where to hit then.

Fire Rack Protection is needed for the Sherman and Patton lines, which catch fire frequently now when shot in the arse. Especially so, now after Pandemic. With all the tiny light and TD hot WHEELs zipping around too fast to crank around or backup to protect my back.

Good vid, nice info, especially for the newer tanker. Essentially gun rammer, vert stabs and optics make an appearance on most things ( at least for me anyway) with some variation’s here and there with vent’s or advanced loader. Others depend on the vehicle itself. Like the MBT70 is a tinder box so fire suppression is nice, especially if it’s a new crew with only minimal skill’s just saying

GLD is only useful for tanks that can't fit vstabs for the 20% smaller reticle and only if they have a long aim time. The T57 Heavy being the exception with its absurdly long aim time and needs both GLD and vstabs.

I know you don't play the modern side of WoT but two tanks in my entire career of playing this game ABSOLUTELY need Reinforced Ammo Rack and Reinforced Fuel Tank. Those are the Challenger 1 and 2. The Challenger 1 had a ammo rack made of wet tissue paper that if you so much as looked at it you'd hear the shells falling out off the rack and rolling around the interior of the tank. With Reinforced Ammo Rack that issue has 99% disappeared. For the Challenger 2 it was the fuel tanks. You thought the FV215b had fragile fuel tanks when hit by artillery? HA! The Challenger 2 had fuel tanks that would spontaneously ignite themselves if you so much as looked at it. With Reinforced Fuel Tanks that problem has also 99% disappeared as well. Some tanks just need particular equipment that most would deem redundant. Just putting my 2 cents out there. 👍

Removing the gun rammer would benefit the game greatly. Less damage, more strategy and it would force players to actually think about equipment since it's almost always the same combinations wich make more than half of them pointless.

I just started playing like a week ago 07/17/23 ish, but I do not have the option of improved ventilation for an equipment. Is this something that is only on certain platforms or has it been removed, or only for certain tanks?

Hi Eclipse, I really like ur videos. :) In one of your equipment prefs i do not concur. While advanced optics is crucial in WW2 and propably one of the strongest equipments to choose, i believe it is quite useless on CW, due to true vision... don't you think?

I used to think that, but if you consider that when an enemy is spotted, your whole team can see them & you pick up valuable spotting damage, then they're essential if you want to improve your moe standings

I've got a video coming out very soon, but run down is that both are probably not overpowered at all but reasonably balanced. Tornvagn will be annoying to play against and basically very boring to see on a ridgeline. Other than that not a whole lot more to say about them. Full initial review is in today's update news.

Post 6.0 it's all defensive equipment/commander skills all the time, in everything. Post 6.0 it's ammo racked, tracks off, crew killed, fire, ammo rack, ammo rack and sorry you are ammo racked again.
