The concept of Fake Crash (and as well Death) really did make Chaos interesting and entertaining for chat, and a hell of a pain for Matt. It’s one of the best additions Chaos Mod ever got and i’m glad this mod always get some new effects

13:33 has to be my favourite crash of all time. Not only does Matto jinx himself saying 'just a few cats, it's fine' a millisecond before the crash happens, he's crashed the game by loading in too many cats before. and then you can tell how defeated he is by his voice after the crash. Chaos% summed up perfectly in one 10 second clip.

When you create a ped trough a script, its persistent by default (prob game thinks its created for mission) so that's why mod creators should do .MarkAsNoLongerNeeded() when creating peds very often Ofc when you script a custom mission, you kinda want to have a reference to mission peds but still, doing a cleanup when mission is over is useful like how R* does it lol Seen many script mods that spawn vehicles and peds but never marks them to be cleaned up by the engine and thus overloading the game which results in a crash

out of the 51 crashes the game did in that video, 31 of them were fake, with a percentage noticeably higher than 50% it's safe to assume that every crash is fake until proven otherwise, peace

Fake Crash must have a chance to activate with other effect, for example, the chat enables money rain, then, the mod select a number from 0 (instantly) to 10 seconds of delay to enable Fake Crash, this with a probability of 10% of happen. It's really easy to dicern a fake crash from a real one, the fake one always freezes the game, unfreezes for less than a second, and freezes again, the real one never does the unfreezing for less than a second stage.
