The House Has Gone Bust, Don't Tread on the Bear, and Beware the Wrath of Caesar do actually serve a technical purpose beyond being a "notification." The quests exist as a way for the game to mark the rest of the faction quests as failed. The scripts attached to them will mark any non-completed faction quest as failed. And because of that they're not really side quests, so I'm not entirely sure why they're included on this list.

You immediately get them the second you start truly investing in a side, but it bothered me that all the other factions had know way of knowing which side I was on until I started acting on it. For example: “Sure Yes Man, I do believe an independent Vegas might be a good thing” Don’t Tread on the Bear! Quest started Beware the Wrath of Caesar Quest started The House has Gone Bust Quest started

I personally found Keep Your Eyes On The Prize helpful on my first playthrough, because I didn’t investigate Nipton enough while passing through it and somehow failed to notice the legionaries there. So it’s good for dumb first time players like me. But I do understand the low ranking, it’s sort of just a failsafe to make sure you actually find out what the Legion is.

You haven't done Eye for an Eye right, unless you dropped the nuclear waste barrels rolling into Cottonwood cove, turning the entire place irradiated, and killing every Legion member stationed there. Kinda like what they did with Searchlight. Just sneak in, and do the deed, with zero reputation penalty from them.

I really hate Hard Luck Blues vault. Recently returned to FNV after a year of not playing it and it took me a very long time to get through this vault because the first code does nothing and you have to turn on the pump. Yeah I figured out how to do this quest in the 150 hours I've played this month but there's another problem in the form of ghouls who tank damage like they're Colonel Royez at the same time as this endless radiation sound plays

I couldn't stand the Mojave Brotherhood or the West Coast Brotherhood in general after I first completed Veronica's companion quest. Say what you will about the East Coast Brotherhood, but at least they have functioning brains and understand the concept of "adapt or die." The Brotherhood in the west has become so inbred and dogmatic about their codex that they're knowingly committing a slow suicide and don't care, even though it contradicts their mission of collecting and protecting technology. I don't even bother with the Mojave Brotherhood in my playthroughs anymore, I just blow up Hidden Valley and get power armor training from the remnants if I want it. House has the right read on the west coast BoS post-Fallout 2.

I was always curious, since the Western Brotherhood presumably integrate into Arthur Maxson's BoS to some extent, what became of their elder, which of course also depends on your choices in NV. Bethesda likes to leave things ambiguous with previous games' lore where possible but it would have been a nice point to explore in FO4.

3:08 plus, you never get to even see, talk, or even hear the people trapped in the vault. And i mean... You don't really free them either. None of the doors open. Plus you have the more interesting to save the sharecroppers (who you make lose their jobs if uou save them) or westside in another quest you'll usually do before this one! Now, obviously i guess lives are a bit more important than some jobs, but it would be way more compelling if the people were... Actually there? And you could talk to them through a window or something?

If you fail to do those tasks you may end up never finding one or two of the ded npcs with those badges, meaning you can never finish this bs quest. Seriously it's designed so poorly

Just stick to making consistently good content with a similar style and probably audience. I mean I'm sure a lot of Fallout fans like open world games, RPG's, and fps.

I always want to laugh hard when I hear the voices of Generation Z who get excited about missions in the overrated and shitty Witcher 3, not knowing what classics they missed XD.
