He's getting something wrong in his explanation. It's not that every family has a god or deity and that there are 12 in the world. The explanation is that our souls come to this realm from different realms/planets/stars constellations in the heavens/galaxies- its not bosom, its rather bosome (month/ planetary body/star). It's from same idea that we have the xodiac, horoscopes, birth/destiny numbers, nton/ntore/ntoro, totems, etc as he numerates here. But they are not 12 gods.
