It's pretty Sad the "Kingdom Hearts" series is slowly reducing down the number of "Final Fantasy" Characters over the years, it's cool that Leon/Squall, Yuffie, Aerith and Cid made a Comeback in the KH3 Re:Mind DLC, but they do absolutely nothing at all but to serve as just Cameos compared to their Epic Roles they all had back in KH 1 & 2, the "Final Fantasy" Characters are the Sole Reason the "Kingdom Hearts" series became Big, Popular and a Successful Franchise. It's a good thing the Moogle has surprisingly become a Mainstay throughout the entirety of the Series since the very Beginning, a real true Veteran, Kupo.

For some reason I'm always wanted to see Firion, Warrior of Light, Cecil and Onion Knight in Kingdom Hearts They are a charming characters in Dissidia and i sad that they don't popular that much for cameos in Kingdom Hearts series Also, that's a crime that we don't see Zidane, Bartz, Terra and more Adult Tidus in Kingdom Hearts

If my knowledge is correct, I believe the only Final Fantasy characters that were planned to be in Kingdom Hearts are ones that Nomura designed himself

It would be tricky to have Terra without having her confused with KH's Terra (the same reason Rikku wasn't in destiny islands) Although they could go with the Japanese name, Tina... or do a Squall > Leon thing

It was good they featured Final Fantasy characters but they should’ve used more like Bartz, Gilgamesh, Vincent Valentine, Cait Sith, Barret Wallace, Angeal, Genesis Rhapsodos, and many of the other heroes and villains even using the summons because Bahamut was supposed to appear in Kingdom Hearts considering Dissidia used the Kingdom Hearts outfits for Cloud, Sephiroth, and Leon, the also should’ve feature the enemy units from the Final Fantasy series like the Shinra Infantryman, SOLIDER, Deepground, and many others should’ve also used the Chocobos as mounts

I think it was meant to throw people off when Mickey mentioned finding someone named Leon and then it ended up being Squall. Yuffie does call him Squall but corrects her and says that his name is Leon instead, so it's just stuck that Leon is his name in KH
