@@rastanamag59 Its not punishable. Those shalins didnt do the heavy afterward which makes it gb vulnerable but if they do the heavy they cant be gbed plus they can feint the heavy if you go for a parry

every bash on wiff should be punishable with gb imo. Like how the used to be before black prior, so they can't follow up with anything.

@@manudem to be fair every bash is punishable via dodge attack except conq, but he’s gb vulnerable anyway on whiff. Shugoki can just chuck a hyper armor heavy on whiff which is crazy. Blanket changes are never good for a game as intricate as for honor. But I do agree that most bashes should be punishable on whiff via GB

I would additionally make it so Kyoshin’s full guard drains his stamina over time to discourage babysit banking with him. Not only does his full guard pin for a ridiculous amount of time but it has a health sway of like 38 (or close to that) with his T1 and T2 feats active. He’s also actively flinging his sword around in the animation and it would make sense since he’s actually moving the whole time he’s in the stance.

Devs fixing/reworking feats?, lmao. Yeah, that happens once every time the planets allign and its a 50% chance for *one* feat to get changed 💀 The only change I would ask universally is no dogde attack into ddoge attack

My poor conqueror, I miss when people would always try and light parry you, but you just keep throwing heavies and they keep eating them. Flail uppercut hit hard and I miss the soft feint bash from the heavy even though it felt like it cost 1/3 of the stamina bar. Though I understand the reasoning behind his heavy crushing counter was super safe and almost like an option select and had to be removed, I wish the they kept it for the charged heavy at least. I think the full guard change where it made coming out of full guard have this weird delay hurt the whole point of being able to feint with the full guard in the first place cause now what's the point? Outside of gank scenarios, just feint regularly and react accordingly . 1st rework conq was a ton of fun if you were creative with his rather basic moveset (if you didnt play him like a turtle) and old release conq was a hilarious mess of an overpowered character that recieved nerf after nerf, but that's a different story entirely. Conq now just feels incredibly bland and lazy. No one wants to fight constant unblockables, and I particularly find it gets boring fast and not at all rewarding for unblockable after unblockable mixup. Also the speeding up of his heavies causing his overall animation to look janky is terrible. Not to mention the decision to keep the same side light super slow because its part of the "identity" is such a dumb decision that everytime i see a conq do it i just feel pity. I much prefer 1st rework conq and I still look back on the clips I've had with him just to remind myself of the good old days. He still had glaring issues like the inability to actually roll catch people, and that was annoying but I would much rather have the zone or something reworked into an undodgeable cause his zone is arguable worse than pointless now since you can't even spam it like you could. I feel as if ubisoft really just gave up on this character and conq will just be this forever waste of 44 reps

It would be cool to see aramusha get a buff to the recovery of his chain finished. You can already dodge the entire soft feint mixup at the same timing, but being able to dodge the heavy finisher and get a free guardbreak is really bad

Dodge cancels on dodge attacks are one of the most unhealthy parts of this game. So obnoxious to have an oro, zerk, or pirate unlock dodge attacking behind you. It’s unpunishable most of the time

Hito needs a opener, opener idea, her dodge forward is chargeable if she press dodge forward a heavy comes out like normal but it’s armored like Jorms dodge forward so people can’t interrupt it, but if she holds it she misses her hit and does a another vertical 360 into a 28 or 26 damage unblockable that can be fainted also armored, but it gb venerable on read. So if you think it’s coming you can GB it like neutral charge heavies but if the Hito doesn’t charge it you eat her normal dodge heavy damage

I wonder how different team fighting would be if the indicators differed depending on how you’re being attacked. Basically make external attacks a different color indicator, so players can tell when they’re being externaled, and respond accordingly. It’s annoying fighting team fights and a JJ and a orochi external you to no end. But I doubt it would really change anything, but would help explain some of the confusion that can occur during a team fight

I just want to break down why the traps are still fundamentally flawed. Despite the possible 22dmg from neutral which can be scary. So is also eating 24 to 25 dmg from the opponent heavy, because say they go for a light parry or even a miss parry window, they are still rewarded for it, and you end up locked in their chain mix-up. Making traps unreactable was never truly the cure towards what the traps needed. Although it did help in a way to make traps likely connect. With Nuxia, she is a very high skill curve because you always need to make the correct offensive reads yourself in your own mix-up when playing her. Otherwise, the repercussions can get pretty bad given her low health pool. She just suffers from very bad matchups, such as stam bullies like Centurion, hyper armor chars like Zerk. If Nuxia had a normal opener bash, dodge cancel recoveries on whiffed traps. And also, if traps were to be fixed, it's rather simple. It would need to catch red indicator in the same direction whereas also the trap is being thrown. Along with potentially a dmg nerf from 22 to 18dmg on traps and other parts of her kit, she would no longer be struggling as harshly in terms of everything being a harsh gamble in her kit. The miss parry window rewarding opponents on trap input has been the most problematic issue that traps have had for years.

I've noticed that too. The unreactable trap changes only made a dent in what they can truly be. Most players are so unaware about that because it's so obvious that they don't play her enough to recognize those problems with her. And your way of fixing the traps fully is quite possibly the simplest solution to fixing them. It's just a matter of "when" you know?

@@CrimsonEve539 I know the problem with her is her trap only works when you make a perfect read which will never work on most players even if they never fought a nuxia im rep 50 with her and it’s still so annoying when you read someone and they just throw a heave a little to soon because they messed up on there parry or accidentally move their guard like it’s just so dumb making the frames faster literally didn’t do 💩 they need to rework it and make it actually work

Except that’s heavy heavy feint to gb as well. A light parry/early parry is just going to smack your face for 24 damage. Does that mean heavies or even unblockable offense is flawed? They work just fine. Bad parry/light is punished by throwing the heavy, just like a feint to gb mix up. The only thing I would add is dodge cancel to heavies, but that’s not even necessary.

The interesting thing about the Shotrikens is that you actually can make them semi-consistently hit 3~4 times. Throw them at any character with soft feints or good forward momentum and they will hit multiple times. Gbs are the best targets since that is when you will see 80 damage notifications on your screen.

dunno if it'd be a good idea, but I'd like to see common feats be able to be shared between heroes (obviously not unique ones, like Gryphon's or Warmongers) of a faction (Knights get Knight feats, Vikings get Vikings, etc); for instance, I like the idea of a Warmonger that has Speed Revive from Conq, Inspire from Warden, Protected Revive from Lawbringer, and Healing Banner or Morale Booster for a sort of support/paladin build. Feel like that'd allow for some diversity in feat loadouts at the very least, although that'd require some more balancing.

Honestly with the current LB rework I wonder if Impale on Heavy parry would feel better. 20 damage opener heavy after the 1 damage impale splat plus the little light follow up tap that gets affected by wallsplat DR, so it would only come out to like 21 or 22 on the wallsplat. Seems fair for a "parry master" designed kind of character. So no need for a special new move, and plus a decent rollcatcher and I'd say my boy in full plate armor is golden

Ocelotl shouldn’t have a chain 400ms light after a whiffed bash. They removed the ability to whiff after a whiffed chain bash on jorm why does Ocelotl get to keep his??

I think that Shaolin should get his unblockable heavy back after the kick, also the sweep shouldnt be the chain reset, he should just be able to end every chain just like his infinite chain. All qi stance moves should be starts of chains and should be able to chain into a heavy or light. The sweep revert back to being its own seperate move, but just keep the punish and keep it feintable.

cents 22 damage heavy parry punish is only with haymaker and is a bit longer. His wall parry punish is also quite long and does a lot of damage only with haymaker. Afeera has this punish regardless.

i feel like the deal with nobushi and other characters that have dodge cancels is that they should follow some kind of formula. like if the dodge cancel counters dodge attacking and punishes the opponent for trying it, the dodge cancel should be gb vulnerable to balance that out.

Imma be honest. I know we just got a warden rehash, but I really wish they would add the ability to shoulder bash off a parry. its something really small and as a warden main I really think it would go a long way in spicing him up even further

Ocelotl is a character that simply can’t be nerfed or they will completely destroy him. Obviously his ganks will be nerfed with the new tg if it goes through (hopefully) but to nerf his moveset would require a rework. They can nerf some aspects of the moveset if they make hunters stance useful as a type of hidden stance or something like that because if they just nerf his moveset more he’s gonna be even more boring than people say he is.

For honor alot of the time feels like who has just got the better moveset. Best characters in the game really feel like they can do everything and can you can die really quickly when the character has dodge cancels or finishers with displacement properties. Cause I've played this game for years and when my reaction time is good then its not too bad of a problem but when I can't react to them then it can be very miserable experience especially when fighting groups who are working together.

I’ll never understand people thinking jorm is good where he is. The only thing good about him is his feats. His damage is laughably low, he has no chase capability, has little to no hyper armor on the attacks that he should have it on and his moveset is super basic and predictable. I love jorm but and I thought before his rework that he could use a something because of how terrible he was but this doesn’t feel like a buff. They removed everything that gave his offense pressure and halved his damage and expect people like me to be happy. Ubi is just flat out incompetent with this game.

My boi Lawbringer, so much could be done for him. More hyperarmor (he literally has the thickest armor in the game), roll catcher, a light light heavy combo, chargeable shove that could be cancelled, the list goes on and on... But he gets nothing

I’d also like to add (I recently started playing again after a break at 700+ reps) revenge tag system is kinda bs too. When your ganked to near death and your teammate finally shows up to help and your revenge build up stops. Revenge is in its weakest state at a time when ganking is at its finest.

Personally nobushi is way too strong with that double dmg with bleed, no character can so quickly kill you with 3 attacks; light bleed into kick into light with bleed with un dogeable heavy can take all your hp worst part is on council (ps4) light are still difficult to parry let alone block also back step can literally dodge anything even gb

As a kensii main I would say the best way to buff him is to rework his second top heavy in chain (not finisher) its a useless move that actually hurts keneii to use it because every option is fully reachable and its a free parry. Either A: remove it entirely and just do a finisher on every in chain top heavy (boring) or B let the second top heavy have a pommel strike as well with he same options as from neutral. also change the hyper armor lights into undodgeable but keep heavies hyper armor.

22:53 Hito needs all of the excess tracking taken off of her chain heavies and loaded onto her forward dodge heavy. I consistently get caught by endless myriad when I attempt to roll out of a gank. Making the read to stop throwing heby and use the dedicated roll catch should be mandatory.

I dont think a TG for feats is necessary. so long as the obvious trash ones are buffed and broken ones are nerfed or removed. for example warmongers covid, orochis first 2 feats, BPs revenge nullifier. its so easy to just change some numbers for them but they just wont do it, cause no money in it

For me, Lawbringer mainly need a light light heavy combo, and ESPECIALY a fucking rollcatcher. Like it's so annoying to see people run away at the second you get your revenge or if they are low life

Just use it to your advantage, the fact you can use revenge is an insanely good stall tool. Just make sure you stay close enough to stay locked onto someone so you don't lose it.

Berserker needs less hyper armor. Im a newer player so I'm not super good, but I dont think I've seen a single shugoki win a hyper armor fight with a berserker. It just never seems to stop coming and, it's cool to make assassins strong vs tanks. A big slow lug would need to win a trade-off, but if the big slow lug can't stop the speedy boi with a thwak to the face, the big slow lug can't win. Whole point of assassins is they dodge well. They don't need so much hyper armor.

Can we make it a fact for all characters that if you cant continue a chain off a missed bash. I despise how only certain heroes missing a bash is a free gb yet for others you cant punish bashes at all.

One last thing. The new meta seems to be if your team starts losing just quit out. I’d like to see (especially in breach) the player lose 1 rep on the character he was using to stop this bs.

It’s a unblockable that’s super slow and gb vulnerable. Of all extended dodges it’s also middle of the pack. JJ is 22 with a light soft feint, tiandi is 25 with a dodge soft feint.

I don't think making Shinobi die instantly whenever his (previously available) ranged heavies are parried is a good idea. I would suggest making the fall from the parry deal 15 - 30 damage, depending on how punishing you really want it to be. The issue was that he wasn't always pulled within range to punish after the parry. Most of the time you couldn't punish him anyway because his teammate was around. This would make the parry not only a parry, but a punish as well. I feel like the ranged guard-break needs tweaks, too, but as a rep 70 Shinobi before the changes, I really want him to have it back.

Damage while falling is solid idea but ranged gb should not come back. It is too strong when used out of sight unless they decrease range significantly then its possible.

@SolidSol69 Yeah, I was thinking a range decrease, but a significant one could defeat the purpose of having one at all. Maybe they could provide a better audio/visual cue for when it happens? Idk. If they do bring it back, they definitely need to be careful about it. They could add damage on fall for ranged gb tech, too. Not sure if that would be enough, but they could do it.

I think Shinobi is one of the best designed charectors in the game atm. He feels very unique and he's not too op he's very gb vulnerable on correct reads and requires a good player for him to be effective. He has great animations, low damage (excluding his 29 damage sickle rain), punishable where he needs to be, and doesn't have a near unpunishable spam like orochi. Worst designed charecotr atm is definiently orochi and he should only have undogable on the top storm rush, his damage is way too high, and I hate needing to make two reads after he kicks. and he has way to many dodge recoveries.

guard needs nerf on her full shield beacuse many players hiding behind that and then they think they are best, shinobi and jormungandr and lawbringer diserve return to normal move specially lawbringer diserve return to normal but crying comunity ask for rework..... orochi needs be faster or have as only one react guard, berserker players diserve remove hyperarmor from lights, and thats all i would do if i control ubisoft

damage has benn neerfed enough as it is pls lets the hero weapens do the damage their are supposed to do. the healing of vg is fine to me since it is finallya feat that actually heals compare the micro heals other caracteres have i would buff the healing feats of some carcteres. hito heaby on red was gone we had good days then they brought it back for some reason but i'll say as a mid tier player it is fine to parry her heavy when we try for real. Oath breaker got to go fo real. the sifu jj zone is a punish so i feel it fine to be unblokable but slower like 560 ms. Hum nobu doge attacks and cobra is not that hard to parry it is reactable but she should not be gooing back when doing it and i agree bleed should not applie on revenge. The only thing i tought cent needed is a nerf to pogio and tha s it but i see your thinking. Hey leave my juggernaut it only good tier two feat for my lb pls don't take it away. i'll be real am glad for corruption blast cause it one of the few way to counter the gank meta. it is realistic that gryffon get gb afther kick miss he exposes himself so no i keep it as an gb oppotunity. As a BP main I think that oathbreaker should just remove shields that are from feats, perks, or the map. I absolutly love removing a teir 4 shield feat during a teamfight. Don't let revenge be viewed as a shield for this feat.

Shamen and nux are not c teir their one of the best characters in the game at current moment shamen never has to give her turn she does a lot of dmg and her soft faints are 400 ms and can be done on every side she heals whenever she hits you when your bleeding and her bite does 35 dmg and heals and gives stam back her bite is guaranteed if she throws you or lights parrys you and she has damn near inf stam nux isn't as bad but shes good her traps are unreactable her chain heavys have good tracking and dmg and has 400 ms lights those alone make her strong because of risk and reward if she wins mind game she will always get at least 20 dmg or more on you while the most you can get on her is a light or a dodge attack but she recovers fast enough to block it most of the time

Shaolin absolutely does not need an unblockable he already had 2 fientable bashes. His dodge attack isnt the problem. Its his chain offense that is almost entirely feintable with safe follow ups on the fientable whiff on sweep. A sweep which catches dodges more often than not. The character is tuned up even without feats.

No dodge cancels after dodge attacks. She doesnt need big nerfs or buffs atm.

@@SolidSol69 well considering all dodge attacks are light parries now I think they’ve had enough nerfs. But the two things I would say to buff pirate is how fast her lights are and how good the tracking on her pistols are. Her lights are so slow it’s very easy to be stuck and not able to do anything because you can’t start your chains. And her pistols are super In accurate. Being a projectile is fine but when I’m aiming at someone on a ladder and Orochis Kuni knife is more accurate then a pistol is a problem.

He’s one of the best duelist in the game. There really aren’t any team fight changes they can make to him that wouldn’t make him OP in duels imo. If he had all sides CC’s he would be really really strong.

But nonetheless warden is faing into abscurity due to being handcuffed to his shoulder yeah it is good but we need more than chicken and rice. For someone who has a longsword which is supposed to be a maneuverable sword(irl) he feels more weighed down that ppl like Highlander who has a claymore(which isn't a big clunky weapon dont get me wrong) in my personal opinion Warden should have a follow up undodgable to counter dodge lights(or heavys). Warden is good I main him and prolly wont stop but I cant ignore the glaring fact that someone like Orochi gets buffs that just make him a god while Warden mains have to sweat their ass off just to nail a coffen for one dude his lights are slow, his zone is slow and very readable, his shoulder is highly punishable, and he has no real chain that doesn't force you to be a reacting god in game. He needs a rework
