1 question about the area3d. When you shower the manipulation of gravity inside the area, how did you do it? Take all the colliding bodies and change their gravity? Thanks!

No the area3d has a build on gravity parameter it basicly does what you discribe!

Recently found your channel and your videos are great! I followed your 3rd person camera tutorial and I really liked the final result, now I'm trying to add a gun to the character model, but I have no idea where to start. I read somewhere that I could use Armature/BoneAttachment, is this the correct direction?

Yes, add a BoneAttachment to the Skeleton3D node, and link it to the hand bone. Then put the weapon as a child to the BoneAttachment, this is how it's done.

Hm I wonder how performant it would be to use decals for shadows? You could bake a shadow for each frame of an animation, throw it in a big sprite sheet and use it in a decal, it might take up more memory but it might also be faster to render than having to calculate shadows from lights

Yeah. Sometimes when I sub and enable the bell it doesn't save. I learned to refresh the page every time I subscribe to make sure it was saved correctly. It happened way too many times to subscribe to a channel and then not finding it anymore in the subscribed channel list.
