The whole Vegeta seeing how much stronger Goku was has been heavily misinterpreted. What happened was Vegeta learned that Goku had achieved the same form as Gohan aka SSJ2. So many people think Vegeta has SSJ2 already at this point and Majin was just a boost, but no, the first time we see SSJ2 Vegeta it is Majin Vegeta, and Vegeta used the form to finally unlock the transformation. But yes, this does mean start of Buu saga Vegeta still only had SSJ1 while Goku had SSJ3. Their base strength was around the same. Vegeta was slowly but surely ending up just like Tian and Piccolo, a bystander who could do nothing but watch Goku eclipse him. Luckily Super changed this dynamic and Vegeta was able to keep up unlike his Z counterpart.

Interesting concept! One fight I was always curious about is whether Goku (fresh without having been exhausted from fighting Cell) could've beaten a Cell Jr. If we have Vegeta fight Cell and then Gohan, Goku would be at full power so that would be interesting. As a joke fight, you could also see whether Vegeta would manage to do things like General Tao''s ring puzzle in the filler. My money's on Vegeta getting angry and snapping the rings, then refusing to give them the dragonball anyway haha

2:13 I feel like even if Goku had _no_ Zenkai boost from the fight against Vegeta (even though, realistically, he probably got a super fat Zenkai from brawling with an 18,000+ power level opponent and getting pretty brutalized) he would still be able to run the Namek gauntlet until Recoome. At this point in the series, even though the Kaioken x4 would damage his body, it would be enough to quickly dispose of Cui and Dodoria before he sustains to much injury. As for Zarbon, it is up to whether Goku would let him transform or not. I'm highly in favor of Goku _not_ letting him transform, since even though it's Goku, the Kaioken at that level of strain would probably lead to him trying to end the battle as soon as possible, and Zarbon probably wouldn't even mention he could transform before he gets a x4 Kaioken Kamehameha to the face. This is all assuming he doesn't push for Kaioken x5 and up in the meantime. What should also have been mentioned is Vegeta vs Burter and Jeice, though I think the outcome to that fight is pretty clear... 6:38 Vegeta vs Buutenks would actually go a lot better than you'd think, because at the point Goku fought him, Gohan had already used up a lot of his time. Buutenks was also busy standing around and gloating about being the strongest in the universe, so his attacks most likely won't be killing blows before the timer runs out. It would still suck a lot for Vegeta, but hey, even Tien survived the encounter with Buutenks.

5:07 He was definitely using instant transmission, there is no debate. This is pre time chamber SSJ Goku, he was nowhere as fast as Semi Perfect Cell was let alone while carrying someone on his back. He's about as fast as pre time chamber SSJ Vegeta right here. People like to claim pre time chamber SSJ Vegeta was slightly stronger but there's still plenty of arguments one could make that they may be about even. imo (not just because Piccolo was uncertain about it) But that's a different discussion in itself. lol And as for the finger argument (at least according to the anime, I don't think the manga gives us any insight on that) he doesn't need to use two fingers in order to perform the technique. We see that three times in the anime: 1. When Goku shows everyone the technique after he gets back from space, he doesn't use his hands at all when taking Roshi's sunglasses. 2. When Goku uses warp kamehameha on Cell. 3. When Goku saves Tien from Semi Perfect Cell. I think the finger placement is just useful for helping him instant transmission to far places that he doesn't know very well or far energy signatures, almost like an antenna. The difference between super speed and instant transmission is that Goku can't do the latter many times in a row consecutively like he can with his normal super speed. If he could then he would just always use instant transmission instead of his own actual movement in every fight because its obviously faster.

I think they have made a fanmade manga out of this already when vegeta and kakarot switch places, and after saiyan saga vegeta joined kakarot in quest of dethroning frieza's army slowly but sure because unlike vegeta's ego where he cannot accept being beaten by goku. Kakarot in this story doesn't have the ego since he is not a prince in the first place, he also offers vegeta to helped the saiyan gain his freedom from the frieza's army.

My only complain here is that you are ignoring the effects of gravity. Goku shouldn't have a problem with high gravity because he's been off-planet all his life (this is especially true if Goku takes Vegeta's possition in Frieza's army); Vegeta should have a harder time with higher gravity because he's been living on Earth most of his life.

When Goku and Vegeta fought in the Saiyan Saga, Vegeta won outright when it was just a one on one. Goku's bones were basically all broken and all he could do from that point is give Krillin some spirit bomb energy. Forget about Krillin, Gohan, and Yajirobe, just take them out of the equation completely because Vegeta would refuse help and Goku's a dead man.

Tbh I think a lot of people misunderstand why Vegeta actually lost the fight against Android 18. Vegeta did not lose because he was initially weaker than Android 18. He lost because he overestimated the capabilities of an unmastered SSJ transformation. Vegeta even after having his energy drained by Android 19 and only receiving _half_ a Senzu Bean from Krillin. Was still stronger than Android 18. However his energy was decreasing the longer the fight went on. Android 18 essentially stalled out the transformation until Vegeta's energy was so low that he could no longer win the fight. Goku would not make the same mistake as Vegeta. He'd realize just how much energy that he is losing. Krillin would have also given Goku an entire Senzu Bean. As he actually trusts Goku. I think the fight would have been much closer if a Goku without the Heart Virus fought 18 first.
