Ali. When u say lots of bounce what degree should we have?

At least 12 degrees for most golfers

My course has lots of hardpan so it was suggested I use a 58* wedge with 10* of bounce. My former wedge had 12* and I would blade it to and across the green. If the wedge has 12* of bounce would you play it back of centre with some shaft lean? The 40 yard shot is my nemesis.
