My observations about Tony Garnier: 1. Doesn't blab personal info about Bob to the press. 2. His attitude towards Bob is always of the highest respect and admiration. 3. In that video where Bob falls, he's the ONLY one in the band who reacts and makes sure Bob is okay. 4. Bob interacts with him more than the other guys, and they laugh/smile together pretty frequently. 5. Awesome bass player. 6. He obviously enjoys Bob's music on a soul-deep level. Rock on Tony. Loyalty and professionalism. Nothing but respect for this guy. 🙏

His voice has been so good and true the last 2 years. I think we are hearing the real Bob Dylan. He has had plenty of time to stretch and try different things, but now it’s like he knows he is in his senior years and can just be himself.

@@meninagreen5704 it’s so good and aligns 100% with how I feel. I’m probably going to have that line on my headstone. ‘In the fury of the moment I can see the master's hand In every leaf that trembles, and in every grain of sand.’

Thanks. Sorry i didnt see it sooner. I like it because whatever i choose to believe about God is fine for me. If others dont want to hear preaching, this is an excellent alternative thay is mild enough that most people will be able to take something away with them. Bob also says he does not have the inclination to look back on earlier mistakes. I feel like i get that very well, ive spent a lot of my adult life feeling guilty about where I have fallen short. I've tried to atone for them. Now I want to look ahead. This aligns with my thinking well. @meninagreen5704

I traveled to Lyon for this concert after seeing him in October 2022 in Brussels, Manchester and London. Every Grain of Sand is an absolutely stunning song which I've only really understood how special it was after the last of his London shows when it really felt he was saying goodbye to the fans and the city.

Every Grain of Sand In the time of my confession, in the hour of my deepest need When the pool of tears beneath my feet flood every newborn seed There’s a dyin’ voice within me reaching out somewhere Toiling in the danger and in the morals of despair Don’t have the inclination to look back on any mistake Like Cain, I now behold this chain of events that I must break In the fury of the moment I can see the Master’s hand In every leaf that trembles, in every grain of sand Oh, the flowers of indulgence and the weeds of yesteryear Like criminals, they have choked the breath of conscience and good cheer The sun beat down upon the steps of time to light the way To ease the pain of idleness and the memory of decay I gaze into the doorway of temptation’s angry flame And every time I pass that way I always hear my name Then onward in my journey I come to understand That every hair is numbered like every grain of sand I have gone from rags to riches in the sorrow of the night In the violence of a summer’s dream, in the chill of a wintry light In the bitter dance of loneliness fading into space In the broken mirror of innocence on each forgotten face I hear the ancient footsteps like the motion of the sea Sometimes I turn, there’s someone there, other times it’s only me I am hanging in the balance of the reality of man Like every sparrow falling, like every grain of sand Written by: Bob Dylan
