I remember getting the red AC elite honor guard with a marine from the bravo series. I was so hyped!

I started collecting around the time of Alpha and Bravo. First gummy was the red elite from Bravo. I was at the beach and went out late one night to a local Walmart. It was so exciting and definitely was the beginning for the obsession for me.

Echo was difficult to find in the U.S. They seemed to skip over it in the major stores. It was the first time I recall that dollar general sold mega halo. Drove all over looking for the gummies from that set.

I think Echo series might have been difficult depending upon where you were. I was collecting steel gray Marines across four states and collected 50 of them. I saw that series all of the time in each state and ignored all of the figures except for the Marines because I needed them for my MOC. I did of course get the entire series before I started searching for just Marines.

I desparately wanted that cyan soldier from charlie (since soldier is still to this day one of my favourite armour types) but i only ever got two pilots and a half AC jackal. sadly the hand broke on the jackal and i lost the AC arm but i still have the rest of it but I wanted that soldier so badly and the elite as well (I only had one elite in my collection and it was old articulation so I really wanted a new articulation elite, especially in red). Unfortunately to this day I still don't have that cyan soldier OR red elite but now that I'm actually trying to collect all soldier variants, someday I'll have to get my hands on it

Ah yes, alpha and bravo are peak nostalgia for me. Bravo had been out for around a week when I got my first blind bags in a long time - ironically the alpha ones. My first 2 figures in the new articulation were the green scout and blue enforcer. Ended up pulling gummy JFO and smoke ODST too! still got them.
