Most of the dialogue that Judd apatow actually uses is improvised. They show what he wrote. Then he just lets them keep going and usually picks their stuff better. lol. Watch the line-o-rama on the blu rays of his movies. And it’s all the funny alternate lines that were not used. And usually also included even longer versions of already long scenes with extra (improvised) dialogue. The long version of “you know how I know you’re gay” from 40 year old version is gold.
