My front doors weigh 63 lbs each and the back doors weigh 46lbs each. You don't need them. If you do happen to scratch your doors oh well. Its a jeep.

I always like to put grease on the pins ( not the threads) and it will make the door feel a lot smoother you should try it next time you take them off

Great idea.....but you should have demonstrated putting on the door without the extensions.... VS putting on the doors with the extensions in place. Your videos could be better if you demo the contents instead of talk talk talk. Really you have good content...but you need to UP your VIDEO content. Good luck dude. Ill be watching

I've got an "82 CJ 7, and I don't have a problem with my doors, I never put them on, why would you if your a real Jeeper, wear insulated coveralls and a toque in the winter, it's a hoot. Been a jeep guy since 1978 and still loving it.

I tear my meniscus and I stopped going to crossfit, and I had to stop driving my Jeep because it has a manual transmission, when I finally when to go get it check, I got surgery and it's been the best decision, I had to do therapy for a couple of months but trust me, after that you are gonna feel so much better, now I'm back into crossfit and I drive my Jeep again, if you get surgery just take care of yourself and if you don't then try to as much rehab as possible for your leg

Regards to Physical Therapy... . . I had a similar injury from a motorcycle 🏍 wreck. 7 months later I started rehab on a 🚴. My leg has returned to its normal size. . . Caution get fitted 1st before riding bike 🚴 or you can hurt yourself worse then you already are. Then watch the weight drop of and the muscles 💪 get stronger.

I never understood the need for these. I have a 2016 jku and I never really have an issue aligning the hinges. My biggest issue is that there is no way to get a good grip on the door once it's free from the jeep.

Matthew B have you tried rolling down the windows before removing the doors?... that way you can get a good grip on the top of the door frame.

Matthew B I have heard that using a drywall carrier is a easy way to remove and carry the doors

Matthew B roll the window down, stand outside door, reach through window and grab the handle that you use for closing the door to carry it.

Harbor freight dual suction cup handles for cheap. I put mine vertically between the hinges and grab this along with the door handle or open window frame. Much easier installing and removing the doors now

You could go a cheaper route by using 7/32" Vacuum Caps that you can get at any Auto Parts Store.

If your door is locked you don't need the bolt on the bottom. You can't take it off without the door open

I make something similar to these and there cheaper. But a little better design. I can send u a set for a review? They totally help from damage if your paint no matter what brand you buy. If you care about your paint that is.

I use a blanket. So they don't get scratched. (Scratches make me mad) And I don't have the bolts at the bottom so someone can steal my doors. (No one will)

No there not 60 or 70 lbs. But have weight. I have the full steel doors and I do this very very very often. Some people don't need special tools but some people do

I laugh at people that take their doors off. They are either mall crawlers or stupid. Where I go wheeling I use the 3/4 rule. That is keep the window up 3/4 of the way. No smacky in the face. Failed to do that once and got a good smack on the arm by a healthy branch. Never again.
