Happy to see there's at least one channel that does its research for whistle related videos. There's waaayyy too many channels flooding the platform with misinformation. Thanks @oceanicstarline1899 I appreciate your comment. Yeah I wholeheartedly agree to your point about misinformation. It’s a problem that’s been plaguing the ship horn/whistle community on KZbin for a couple years now and I’ve been trying to fight the misinformation ever since. I always do my research and I always include my sources and I’m glad people can look up to me for real ship whistles and ship horns :)

Agreed. Especially in contrast to Cunard and the amount of clips available compared to Wsl. But yeah in terms of verifiable White Star line ship whistles, this is all there is :(

@merafirewing6591 I would be careful with hypothetical whistles. Sure it can be okay to get a sense of what they could sound like (if proper research is done) but often times the examples on KZbin are not accurate to what the actual whistles would have sounded like.

Why The whistle of HMHS Britannic not in the video?

That whistle from the HMHS Britannic is actually a recreation and is made by Titanic Honor and Glory. There is no known real recording of her actual whistle, but she did have 3-Bell Whistle just like Olympic, Titanic, and other Large Liners. So it's safe to assume Britannic would have sounded similar to Olympic's steam whistle.

Arabic had a 3-Chime Whistle and the recordings on KZbin don’t match up to what 3-Bells actually sounds like. Additionally the “Arabic Whistle” videos and some WSL Whistle comps don’t Include their sources in the description which makes it hard to verify each whistle.
