raymond martinez Yes! That happened to me too after 4 games. That is why I wanted to find and alternative and was thinking on the Predators but I read several reviews that the center mesh easy gets a whole after a few games. The Nemezis are just weird and the X are so plasticky. After watching this video I think I am going to go with the Copas again to see it the new Kangaroo upper holds up better this year. The copa fits me pretty well. But like u said, lockdown is not perfect. I’m wondering if the X is wider than the copa? I’ve never tried a pair of X but It seems that the X has a higher volume in the toe box area. I

You consistently say that it is a matter of personal preference when it comes to how someone wants their cleats to fit. I like my cleats to be very tight all around, but I also like the look of the laceless cleats from adidas and have been thinking of getting a pair for a while. According to this video and videos of yours from the past, laceless cleats do not offer the best lockdown or the snugness that I am looking for. I was wondering if you would you ever recommend buying a laceless cleat that is a half a size or a whole size smaller than your usual? This would undoubtedly give a tighter fit, but I wonder if this would end up murdering my toes in the process or if there are other possible repercussions that I am not thinking of?

High cut boots apparently hug your ankle. Low cut boots fit more true to size easier to lock your foot

ZERO clue if it's been done or even possible ... but with laceless boots, to help with heal lockdown (which seems to be the biggest issue); maybe develop a "moldable" heal-counter?? Kind of like moldable insoles for regular shoes - but specifically for the heal counter. End thought; rather than a heal counter for "everyone" something moldable to the individual wearer's heal - will have better overall lockdown .... Thoughts??

Lockdown is down to more than just the shape of the heel. You need some kind of sustained pressure/tightness that is forcing your heel down and back, locking it into the boot. I don't think you could really have a heel construction that could cup your heel from the back and sides to hold it in place.
