I do prefer those cloth capes over that newer rubber one. While Loki has it on, you cannot put his hair piece on top of his head, since the plastic cape does not allow it to stay on top of his head. That explains why Loki only comes with his helmet and not his hair piece in the Avengers vs. the Leviathan set. That newer plastic cape may work for certain figures, but it limits the possibilities because you cannot put certain hair pieces on the heads while the minifigures have that cape on.
