What y'all need to realize is that the high notes these guys were hitting when they were younger was possible because they were younger. As you get older it may not be possible. Even Ralph, as good as he sings he cant get the sane pitch singing the high parts of candy girl

@O M New Edition's manager at that time was Steven Machat. In 2013 he brought that story to the forefront, saying Trezvant hadda step in for Brown who-shall we say-wudn feeling well. dria bella It’s an LA & Babyface produced song Every Little Step. Babyface Produced It and Originally Sung it... but Face Passed the song on to Bobby Brown bcuz he felt like it would be a better fit for Bob. Babyface usually performs Every Little Step Live! in Concert whenever he does a Medley of Hits that he has wrote and produced for other Artists.

Yup, what Linda said, plus the cocaine warps the air and throat passages too after awhile. He abused it for over 20 years before he finally became the cleaned up guy he is now. AND the Alcohol. Sadly the damage was done, but for what its worth, his voice sounds like it clearly improved a little since the 2009-2017 era.

Bobby doesn't sound good at all. He needs to stop shouting. I think the other members of his group should take some parts of the song and sing it. Bobby should sing a small portion of the song too. I hope he continues to look out for his health mentally, physically, spiritually,and psychologically. He should also take singing lesson. He sounded so much better when he was younger. I don't expect him to sing the same but I expect them to take care of himself perfect his craft. He can also adjust the song to suit the way he sings now.
