Gambit's win in 2017 was special for many reasons: they were the first CIS team to win a major and stopped Astralis in the semifinals, just before their dominant era when they were in their prime. It's such an underrated achievement

Navi is such an amazing organisation. They have always been at the very top, right by every team’s era. Were in the major final in the French era (EnvyUs), in the Brazilian era (Luminosity), in the Danish era (Astralis) before eventually winning against G2 and cementing their position as at least the top 2 organisations of all time (after Astralis). So proud that they kicked off CS2 with a major win. One more win and in my opinion they overtake Astralis as the greatest counter strike team of all time. Always behind the boys in Black and Yellow. 💛🖤

Astralis won 3 majors in a row (4 total), a bunch more tournaments, and changed the way teams play counterstrike. It's gonna be extremely hard (damn near impossible) to beat Astralis' legacy as the greatest counter strike team. They were just so dominant

@@prodKaizoku navi have won just as much as Astralis, if not more, except for the majors. And they’ve also always been consistently at the top. It’s the only organisation that has ALWAYS stayed top 5, 10 ever since 2014. If you look at the overall history of navi in counter strike, it is hard to make a case against them as the greatest team ever if you consider their 1.6 championships as well. Of course Astralis dominated the scene, but Navi are almost there.
