Honestly I like the first credits theme of mario kart wii more than the second. The music combined with th orange sky in the clip brings me back to simpler times, when I was 7 and I didn't have any worries in life just playing mario kart wii trying to not fall on rainbow road. Yes, I danced to the second theme but the first one carries all the nostalgic feelings

You know all the credit themes are too good when Wii's first credits theme is ranked at #10. Think that one is my favorite and by a landslide, though I can definitely respect the reasoning for having it a bit lower. Double Dash, DS, and Wii were definitely my three nostalgia Mario Karts, and though I didn't play 64 until a bit later on in life, I think 64 and Double Dash's credits might be two of the most impactful. Most of these credits are really good (outside of Tour lol), and I can't imagine how hard it was to rank them all. Great video!

Mario Kart 8's original credits theme is not just my favorite credits theme in the Mario Kart series, but quite possibly my favorite piece of music from any video game ever. I don't say that lightly! My list would line up with yours exactly if the two 8DX themes were swapped. I significantly prefer how seamless the game themes are incorporated in the original rather than the somewhat disjointed medley style of the BCP. The only part of the tune that I don't completely vibe with is the beginning of the Electrodrome section, but then the horns come back in and it floors me! Legendary credits theme, and one of the only credits that I never skip because of that

My list would go like this 10 - Mario Kart Wii 9 - Super Mario Kart 8 - Mario Kart: Double Dash 7 - Mario Kart: Super Circuit 6 - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass 5 - Mario Kart 7 4 - Mario Kart DS Normal 3 - Mario Kart 64 2 - Mario Kart 8 1 - Mario Kart DS Secret Slightly biased since DS was one of the first games I've ever played alongside Sonic 2 and SM64. Never played the Arcade games and I have no desire to. I think I like the credit themes that make you reflect on what you just played through. Something about it feels very climactic and great when your video game credits sound soft but upbeat at the same time.

I like to have my own commentary with the song lightly playing in the background as opposed to just the song playing the whole time otherwise I think they diminishes the quality of the video. Though for future videos like this I could try to implement 5-6 seconds of the song playing alone in the beginning as opposed to 3 seconds which I used here. Appreciate the feedback!
