Every Mortal Kombat Character - Height Comparison (MK1-MK11)

All of the heights in this video were researched a lot for each character alone and were compared and measured to find the closest and the most reasonable measure, it's not all accurate of course, while Most of them were confirmed by NRS and was mentioned in the characters bio's here and there just a few of them were pure guessing from me, anyways just a video for fun and i hope to see others opinions on it, comment you're thoughts and ideas about this video and don't forget to give a like. Sadly due to all the redesigns and retcons, this is a bit all over the place, kano for example is listed as 5'10, but in MK11 he's one of the taller men, standing taller than Erron black during the doubble kano scene, yet Erron is listed as 6' tall. Just one example.

Characters are hardly even a heads worth in difference between the tallest and shortest characters in the game. Which is kinda sad, since many characters should be notably larger. Something that is a blessing and curse for using the big body fighters.

What doesn’t add up are some of the female heights. Namely the ones that are wearing heels. Cassie, Jacqui are 5’8” and Sonya is 5’9”. This is pretty realistic considering where they are from. In addition to this - not one of them are wearing heels. They are all wearing combat boots, or shoes. So we can safely say that is their height without extra addition. This means there’s no way Jade, Kitana, and Mileena are actually 5’9”. Without heels, Jade, Kitana and Mileena are most likely somewhere from 5’4” to 5’6” dependent on how many inches the heels add. Same goes for the other heel wearers. This also now makes other characters heights make more sense, such as Baraka (even though I do think 6’5” for Baraka is a bit out there).

Erron Black stands at 6ft which is accurate. Tanya another (Edenian with heels) stands up to his chin/upper neck. This means with heels she stands at around 5’7” which what is she depicted as in this video. Minus heels she probably stands at around 5’5”. So I can back this. The women with heels are probably around 5’5” give or take an inch.

Sadly, the nature of fighting games makes this a nightmare to balance. The taller characters would have too much trouble hitting the shorter ones (think back to Oddjob in GoldenEye 64). So either they will miss a lot of their high and mid attacks or the animations will be really awkward. It's the same thing in League of Legends because there's a character called Malphite and in lore he's supposed to be the size of a mountain, and there's Twitch who's literally a labrat (in lore he's the size of a rat) and in game they are both the about same size give or take.

I hope one day mortal kombat creators decide to make game as huge as once Armageddon was with huge roster, including every single character in the universe(excluding guest characters) starting from major characters and finishing with minor characters like meat or mokap. I know it will take a lot of time but it will be crazy. only this time without Kreate a Fatality bullshit that ruined armageddon, otherwise it would had been one of the best MK games in many people's opinion if they keep it simple and had just classic fatalities for each characters

I play all mortal kombats from the ps2 Version to the Xbox versions and yes li mei is 5'11 without heels because of deadly alliance... But in the new continuity I think they shrunk her to the size of the other women?
