The details are great (like Finn who can buy items or B-MO from Choose Goose), but the fact that Tom instead of directely attacking other enemies tries to continuously hit Jerry is with every move is amazing! Imagine being Wonder Woman and accidentally being hit with a hammer by a cat trying to kill a mouse

You were right mostly, but wrong about Taz. His tornado is pretty hard to deal with. Combining tornado and peppering stacks up damage really quickly not to mention if you can use his apple core range attacks as zoning.

exactly when anyone calls Taz bad it's most likely because they are not that great with the character because he is a beast at stacking damage, the zoning if it hits works very well, and the tornado is relatively easy to use and is also very easy to hit

The emphasis on status effects, cooldowns, passives, and defined team roles makes it feel like MultiVersus is almost meant to be a hybrid between a platform fighter and a MOBA like League of Legends. It's pretty neat how they are differentiating themselves from the Smash formula.

Shaggy actually is canonically an excellent fighter, even without Ultra Instinct memes. In one of the films, he’s hypnotised into losing his cowardice. He later beats up an entire biker gang, without throwing a single punch. The only thing changed about him was that he lost his cowardice. If he was more confident, he’d be practically unstoppable.

steven also has some cool combos that use things like cancelling jabs with a neutral attack and jump at around the exact same time which gives way to some insane tech if steven doesn't seem techy enough yet, the neutral attack jump is call NAJ, and there's even a tech called DCJDS, which stands for Dodge Cancel Jump Down Special

6:44 garnets guantlets do a ton of knockback compared to her other moves and it comes out really fast, so its a good "get off me" move when someone is pressuring you on a ledge. also, paired with the signature perk that triggers the down special when you hit the side special, you can combo really good attacks

Okay so, when the game is a free-to-play and not an Alpha, I guess I know the three characters i'm trying first: - Garnet: Probably going to use more of the physical moves but damn, knowing how much I rush, those support traits are going to be a heaven's gift. - Tom & Jerry: I love controlling two characters in one, I mean, it makes me feel superior when I win in a impressive way. (Also, those two are my whole childhood so) - Jake: Is only because he reminds me of Rayman, and looks like a character that in a team becomes an absolute nightmare (Also, that chair idle reminds me of DMC Vergil and the joke of the plastic chair so extra points on that).

Jake was the first character I unlocked and is still my go to when I lose a match. If you know how to use him you can completely wreck people. His mace and axe attacks are absolutely brutal.

I think shaggy's move set is built around the episode where he ends up being hypnotized to actually be brave AKA the origin of the ultra instinct shaggy meme which is probably why he often has a yellow ore in the fighting game it seems as they likely have embraced the meme and incorporated it into the move set instead of just using its source material that spawn the meme itself

Garnets gauntlet projectile moves faster and launch further if you let go of the special button but you'll be unable to change its direction after that (The godlets also technically have an unlimited range and disappear on a timer rather than a certain distance meaning that proper timing and increasing the projectile speed will also increase the projectiles range

for bugs as since he has a ton of moves with long cooldowns, as long as you dont spam and you get a combo or two in after every ability you use, there basically wont be a cooldown because after using all of the moves the cooldown for them will be gone
