What i love from Vanguard studio music is the "lyrics". It has no meaning by itself but you can feel the emotion. They can also make you feel the environment, such as underwater (Lamia), outer space (Last Resort) desert (Dust) and also drag ppl into the game from the theme alone (Narwhal). Cant wait to hear their works on Wuthering Waves

as much as I love verheerender's song, I think a better example of Azur lane music is its boss battle themes, they always carry a certain Wagnerian flair, as in they carry the large scale and gravitas of an opera's climatic moment except they are arranged with the edgyness of an action anime OST. my favorite aspect is how the music from events often carry leitmotif from old tracks in a very different arrangement, it feels both fresh and nostalgic. also, you missed on the oportunity to include Artery Gear, its music is made by the same studio as PGR, and it doesn't dissapoint at all
