Zelda games feel like they are missing something without using a musical instrument imo.

Do they? Some of the best zelda games do not have a musical instrument

@@kayden2119 you are correct, but I like the idea of a magical instrument.

@@kayden2119 although I can't think of a Zelda that doesn't use an instrument, besides the new ones

Twilight Princess (unless you really count the optional howling and grass whistles which I dont), botw and totk as well as most of the 2d ones. @@jasonknowing

@@kayden2119 they do behave like an instrument, so I kinda do, even if they are lame in comparison to an actual instrument, the musical mechanic is still there though. Og zelda, oracle games, alttp, spirit tracks all have an instrument. Baton isn't technically an instrument, but you're conducting music with it. Yep that's definitely something missing from both and took among other things

Music has always played a big role in tloz. The only instrument I absolutely hated was the harp in skyward sword because I always messed up with the motion controls 😤🤣

I would love to see / hear someone make a song series using these instruments, all conducted by the wind waker of course. That would be awesome, though I don’t know know how well they would harmonize

I've been looking for a complete list of all the instruments in the zelda series, and I'm happy I found your video! Really good stuff!

Thanks man, funny I made this video after searching for the same thing, and not really finding anything. As well as I love zelda and it's relationship with music, from the instruments Link finds and uses, to the songs he plays, to the groovy music themes playing in the background that illuminate every area with a specific tone and mood. Love it all! Thanks for watching!
