Archetypes ruined the fun for me. I don't play park or care for it and when it came out that your overall was a lie it just made me dislike it even more. The same goes for 18 and 19. I just want a 2k11 through 2k14 skill point system and no vc. The grind in 2k11 from a 40 overall felt so fulfilling to do. I feel like 2k could use archetypes for park and Pro am just not my career and split the two up.

The three year span of 14 to 16 was great... 17 was iffy because of the bugs and how Park slowly became too toxic with the cheesy jumpshots and HOF badges. HOF Limitless Range was the most Toxic badge with people shooting from half court like it is nothing. The cheesy shot creator builds, sharpshooter builds, and stretch bigs. Everybody had a shooter build because the HOF shooting badges were that broken.

I was fucking with you until you put 17 in the GOAT category. Aside from dribbling and the community being lit. 17 was bad... 1.loading screens were frustrating 2.brick walls OP 3. Ankle breakers happened every possession(im exaggerating but it happened a lot) 4. First year of archetypes which is the cause of 2k downfall as they got Money hungry 5.imbalance within archetypes as Playmakers/Sharps/Glass ran that game. 6.You couldnt play defense if you were not a lockdown as there is always a delay 7. Side to side cheese.. toxic unless you spam the x button 8. Missing open dunks 9. Making a dunk and 2k calling out of bounds I could go on and on but I did appreciate 2k17 being the last 2k to buy our primary badges up to gold and grinding it to HOF ourselves. I also like how we were able to grind any other badges we please despite it being to bronze but bronze badges were still effective. Ik its an unpopular opinion I have with 2K17 the game is trash in my book and I will accept it being Mid but no higher. I didnt even want to type this long of a message but seeing yall put 17 on GOAT status just irritated me so much.
