Spurs are not trading Keldon Johnson anymore. Those are all narratives from 2 years ago. KJ is a huge piece of the spurs and their sixth man. His numbers aren’t high anymore but he’s always playing a ton. He just has a different role now and he has been getting much better at that role. He is dramatically better defensively and is the only guy in the spurs that gets to the rim all the time. The declining contract and his next contract will be in the spurs cause they love him. I dont agree. Unless we get fox or booker (which would require breaking up our depth), no player we get at the deadline would swing the needle hard enough to beat SGA or Luka. I think you just let the season play out and see if Jalen Green can surprise you and go on a scoring year that carries into the playoffs. I dont think its chip or bust in Houston at all, no need to make a hasty move
