Primo's second year wasn't even that good, I can argue that even Blake Wesley has a better 2nd year and more flashes of being great(At least defensively). As a Pistons fan, I was actually offended that you didn't give them more credit for being absolutely horrible at drafting! They belong in the same breath as Charlotte, Phila, and Phoenix. Killian was the worst, but Sekou was the only other one name dropped. They had: '19 Sekou( one highlight then out the league) '17 Luke Kennard over Donovan '16 Henry Ellenson (WHO?!!) '15 Stanley Johnson 8th overall over Devin Booker who wanted to play for the Pistons '13 KCP (meh) '12 Andre Drummond (decent for them) '11 Brandon Knight (only known for being dunked on by DeAndre Jordan) '10 Greg Monroe The years I didn't list there, they didn't have a first-round pick. Bottom tier organization when it comes to drafting.

For the Utah Jazz, it should be Enes Kanter instead of Dante Exum. He openly admitted after being traded that he hated playing in Utah and that he didn't even bother trying to play to his full potential. The Jazz also instantly became one of the top defensive teams in the league after trading him. Exum at least put forth effort when he was on the court.

Something you didn’t mention about Royce White by the rockets is why he didn’t play any games. It’s such a baffling situation. Royce refuses to play because he was scared to fly. The Thunder have an odd predilection for selecting players with unusual development paths to the NBA. TFerg is one notable example, but they also used a first-rounder on Darius Bazley, who skipped college to do a yearlong "internship" with New Balance; they picked Serge Ibaka when he was a relative unknown playing ball in Spain; Josh Giddey was kind of a sight-unseen player coming over from Australia. I think Sam Presti has a desire to show how much more thorough and clever his organization is as draft evaluators, and while some non-traditional approaches have panned out (the Canadian-Australian-Canadian starting backcourt they have this season seems to work just fine), they also occasionally whiff.

Some Spurs fans were so eager to defend Brian, even Spurs content creator such as Clan… You know,I am not too mad about Devin, since he’s still a solid pick,no where close to Hali after this season, but still. However no way the pick of Primo is even excusable,he was a projected late lottery ~ second round, and I don’t care there’s some rumors about how “Teams” want to pick him at late lottery,he was never that good. Like, even if they claimed “There’s no way Brian would know he’s a pervert “,he still didn’t show any sign of being worth a lottery pick, especially in a deep year like 2021 smh… In fact,he’s still playing, key world “G’League”,he’s not even NBA level in his third year. Lastly,I am on the same boat as you,I wanted J-Dub before the draft, and people like Clan defended Jeremy and said he will be a better player, but it doesn’t age well.
