My favorite digimon is all the digimon in Liberator. The number one being Dinomon. I look forward to seeing more evolutions, especially ghostmon. Also speaking of monster hunter! I think your should do a custom art video of all the digidestined digimon crossed with monster hunter.

As someone who has been keeping up with at least the Comic version of Liberator (I need to read the actual written version) I absolutely adore that the people making Digimon has taken the opportunity to not only make new Digi’s like they always do, but to really add to older/less talked about Digimon and give them full lines! That’s one of my personal favorite things to do as an Artist, and seeing things like Espimon actually getting a full line after Ghost Game, FanBeemon doing what I had been begging the Pokemon Company to do to Combee since I was kid and actually making a “Worker” Bee and Queen Bee lines that each have their own complete sets of Evo’s, and the possibility of Ghostmon, one of my favorite recent Digi’s, FINALLY getting something all his own, really showed that Digimon rocked 2024 on this side. With it kind of being unknown how long Liberator will go for, who knows what else we’ll see. It’s not gonna happen, but I can HOPE and DREAM that as we get closer to whenever the next Story Game comes out, we might actually get new Evo’s for the Olympus 12! Whelp. Happy New Year everybody. Let’s keep hoping, keep our heads high, and look forward to what may come. And thank you Karn as always, for some excellent content. 🎉🎉 Also. Side note. With all the New Chinese God-Themed Digimon being introduced, I would love for them to have their own group like the Olympus 12.

Wukong really got shafted, he's still a perfect/ultimate digimon lololol But now we have ultra level digimon based on characters that showed up in Journey to the West: Nezha (Nezhamon), Erlang Shen (Erlangmon), Li Jing (Takutoumon), Chang'e (Jougamon), and probably that Loong Dragon Digimon too... It'll be funnier if Zhu Bajie or Six Eared Macacque got their ultra level digimon version first

Honestly, Maquinamon is probably my favourite digimon of 2024, not necessarily because of it's design (although I do like it's design, a good mix of cute and a bit creepy) but mainly because of the intrigue it brings to the story of liberator, and it's connection to unchained (who I'm fairly certain is going to turn out to be the main villain of the series, at least for the first arc, they're way too suspicious)

It's always good to have new digimon and they made them good in 2024. Jougamon could easily be Lopmon and Shaochung biomerge, it could be better than regular Cherubimon. In January, we will have Ghostmon's evolution and it will be amazing.

18:15 - Not sure if I've said this before, but this is what I would have wanted for a Digimon based on Genbu/Xuanwu, the Black Tortoise. If they made those arm drills shoot streams of water and slapped a snake head on the end of that tail it would be almost perfect. I've never liked the design of Xuanwumon since it has the wrong element, isn't black, and has the second head on the wrong end.

Xuanwumon does use water techniques, its profile even says so Also how is that fair when Azulongmon/Qinglingmon isn’t the correct element. They made it control lightning instead of wood

@@omnii5818 Oh, I got problems with Qinglingmon's design too. The 1 time it doesn't make sense to equate a Ryu/Long with weather (or in most cases water) and they decide to make it the whole design. Something like Petaldramon or Entmon would make more sense to me. It's more like a "Longmon" or "Stormdramon". At least it's azure in color. I do like Xuanwumon's attacks. Dark misty illusions and blocks of black crystal (I'm assuming is ice) are really cool ways to show off its element. It's just that the design doesn't line up for me. It looks like it's plant based, doesn't use any black, second snake head instead of a snake tail. It feel like the wrong image loaded on it's bio. No problems with Zhuqiaomon. Baihumon could be better if they turned the purple a steely grey, but that's only if I'm REALLY nitpicking. Otherwise, I like it a lot. (Though it would be cool if they added a wind attack to reference the difference between the Chinese and Japanese 4 elements) I don't personally love Huanglongmon's design, but there's nothing I can pick out that's inaccurate. Just not my taste.

The Monster Hunter Collab announcement is easily my favourite news from 2024. This year has been a huge rekindling of my childhood love for Digimon (very much thanks to having found your channel, in fact), so to come back to the franchise, only for them to to announce a Collab with one of my all time favourite game series was huge for me, and I'm very excited to see what else is going to come out of this crossover. ^.^

Happy New Year Karn. Erlangmon, Dinomon, Jougamon and Takutoumon have been awesome and they’re ones I really didn’t expect especially Jougamon considering I just came off finishing Sailor Moon. Espimon getting its full line, Shoemon and Pteromon I really like. The new DNA Digimon are great I say. Impmon’s new line I really love those and it’s a really cool second option if you don’t want “canonical” line. I think Digimon Explained and I both predicted Queen Beemon would be a thing but I won’t take the credit for that because I was joking. Overall these new Digimon I say are yet another welcome addition.

I'm disappointed we didn't get much in the way of V-Pets but the Liberator stuff has been so cool! And I'm so happy I finally have a more developed line for Espimon which is almost exactly what I hoped it would be. All I want now is a "Jet mode" for Invisimon and it will be perfect.

I absolutely love Espimon's official new line SO much! I've been dying for a Cyborg/Machine type deck that I could really sink my teeth into, but nothing really jumped out at me as super interesting, until Altea came along and showed me exactly what I was missing! I was iffy about Oblivimon at first, but I really grew to like the design over time. Invisimon though, love at first sight! The body of Getter Robo, the moves of Mazinger Z, a giant Stealth Wing Sword that flies independently to attack enemies like Justice Gundam's Fatum-00... Easily my new main deck going forward!

Happy New Year, Karn! Can't believe how long I've been subbed, but the Digital Monster brainrot never leaves me. Honestly I have the opposite opinion on Pteromon's line, I like Galemon and GrandGalemon a lot, but Zephagamon's design is just meh to me. The shape looks weirdly skinny though I like the curved blades. And I love how Muchomon/MedievalGallantmon are getting love. The New Century Digimon are exciting as they're basically building another group with all the Gods/Goddess inspirations, especially love Jougamon. I've not been to Ireland or Wales unfortunately, but I do have some Irish blood and I am ALL for Cernumon/more non-humanoid Megas. It was even in Digimon's Christmas Social Art with Skadimon! Love seeing a wrap-up of all the new Digital monsters

Shoemon in training is the in training for renamon that was confirmed in the fable waltz starter deck and ex7 and the liberator chapter with arisa like a few other liberator lines they used a pre existing in training such as ryugamon using jellymon in training

Happy new year, Karn! This has been the year of Digimon for me, having gotten into it late last year and now having been into it for the full span of 2024, and it has been so exciting and fun to be part of a new fandom. And I'm glad I can rely on you for variety Digimon content that focuses on the franchise as a whole rather than picking one specific corner and mastering it. As much as I enjoy that, theres no one I can just go back and binge random videos for quite like you. If I had to pick just a single Digimon from 2024 to be my favorite, I think it's going to be Proganamon but also the full Sunarizamon line, with Proganamon being my favorite and the representation of all of them (very funny to hear you bemoan the line being such a miss, _especially_ Proganamon, literally while I'm cheering at my screen shouting YEAHHHH MY BOOOOOYS, that's just how Digimon is). I feel like a big stone turtle with drills can fit into so many lines and feel natural and it plays into a lot of my favorite tropes. It gave me a real bite when I tried to make a line that evolved Progranamon into Zudomon, only to be reminded that Zudomon is not a Mega, fucking destroyed me because that's such a perfect evolution. My runners up (which are less runners up and more just more favorites) are the full Royal Base line (with Vespamon being the champion) and all of the crossover stuff we got (with RathGreymon being the champion). I'm so excited to see what Elizamon and Ghostmon become!

i love that heavymetaldramon gets it's 2nd digivolutionline. ex7 release was great, but it missed so mutch to be rouge at least, it is a fun deck, but doesn't do mutch. with bt19 impmon, and bt20 heavymetaldramon line with a impmon allows for a true deck to form, i love it. i already play beelzemon, as that was my first deck, and now i can trully add heavymetaldramon to my collection. the first release wasn't inof, and the new releases are amazing on paper, wonder how it will play in practise, and the generic bt19 impmon now gets you 11-12 impmons you can use for the deck. with the importand play tamer from trash, you need ex7 yuuki on the field to have the deck function. as for the monster hunter colab, i think it will be the first main event for monster hunter wilds, i do hope so. would be amazing to fight them in monster hunter wilds shortly after release. wilds would make the most sends though for bandai. as wilds is global release, with a huge playerbase right from the getgo. would be amazing promotion for digimon, if the colab would be with wilds the game tbr on februari 28th 2025.

It's not my favorite new digimon (that's probably Zephagamon or Dinomon), but I just love that Invisimon is a 70s style super robot. It would be really cool to have some art down the line featuring HeavyLeomon and Invisimon together repping classic super robot anime.
