In subnautica below zero, there is actually a way to get the snowfox without comands. It's still a bit broken, but you can get it. In one of the supply-drops you will find an item called "NONE". If you drop this item, it will spawn a databox with the hoverpad blueprint. I guess this is what sam meant when she spoke about sending down a snowfox. If you go on one of the big glaziers at the edges, you can then build the hoverpad with your habitat builder, just bear in mind that it requires power. Then you're good to go. Now you have a snowfox without commands!

I am wondering if they will ever add something like the 'Eldritch Depths,' where your crew face hallucinations and attacks from eldritch lovecraftian monsters as you submerge into the Stygian depths and near the corpse city of R'lyeh. This could end with your final battle being the pair of ancient deep ones Father Dagon and Mother Hydra, or even the High Priest of the Outer gods himself, Great Cthulu. Or something where you have to race and compete against another crew as you try to reach the end first.
