To be honest not a big fan of anything we are getting this UPDATE. Maybe with more testing I will enjoy the rifles more but yeah that's my initial thoughts on the update from the PTS.

Neither am I, I would have suggested trying to combine that new exotic kneepad with a Lady Death build, BUT it says it doesnt stack other movement speed bonus' so... RIP. Kinda makes the kneepads worthless in my eyes. UNLESS, the combining of other movement speed sources means only the effects on that kneepad and Lady Death would be fair game....

Do people who make these sets play the game? Does not seem like they have any clue in what we like. If they would Just bring back the D3-FNC and enabled smg to be used with the body shield. That would be a great update. I feel that they need to give back something to the hardcore division fans that have stuck by this game for years.

I agree so if you pay attention the previous PTS they were complaining that the behind you talent and the new excotic rifle from the Decent vendor was too strong so they nerfed it prior to release. So now they give you a gear set that essentially gives you the same rifle damage that they took away. Why not just give rifles a buff and stop wasting our time?

@@capt.america2737 I'm primarily waiting till they finally hire someone that refuses to make a "stack" I am completely fed up with ever SINGLE GEARSET coming out that has the following lines of text. "Upon gaining a stack, After X number of stacks, Stacking up to, Enemies gain a stack..." ENOUGH STACKING EFFECTS ALREADY!!! We get it you don't know how to be innovative or your precious Frostbite engine can't handle it. Figure it out. Either make a REALLY good stacking effect for something and make it broken or just stop developing the game, its becoming a ruined game slowly but surely.

Ninja backpack, Hotshot, Aces, Breaking point, Arialdi , & Habsburg (one of them chest piece with head hunter). Each piece has MMR damage on it. I’d love to see what that build is hitting for with a marksman rifle. I think a fast RPM MMR would be fun like the Surplus SVD or Paratrooper (perhaps with breadbasket) paired with Nemesis/Mantis.

you do not need. Their are currently sniperbuilds which oneshot every npc except those with armor you must break. The Build is working with headhunter and determined. You use it with a M700, but i have heard it also works with M44 and SR-1.

@@nordstern2664 Yes with slow 55-60 rpm snipers. A fast RPM sniper rifle is an entirely different play style. The purpose is not to one shot. Similar to a rifle build using a classic M1A but hits harder and faster RPM.

It would've also been cool if they had done some work on the merciless to make it more relevant. Maybe up the weapons handling and back it's talent proc at 6 instead of 8

I can see the extra movement speed being useful to change position quicker or as a defencive thing to run away quicker but i cant see any benefit to it in terms of pushing an enemy, rifles arent normal quick killing so throwing yourself in close to someone doesnt seem wise. I imagine the shotgun is a cronus dream. I already uninstalled td1 the other day as i had a guy lag switch on me so striaght up juat uninstalled and if td2 gets worse in the dz for it i'll just get rid too as im getting a lot mote enjoyment out of other games where this stuff just doesnt happen right now

Those exotic knee pads needs to go back to the drawing board. They feel like part ninja bike, part lady death and it doesn't stack with other motion buffs. I used rifles back when the game first dropped but it just doesn't work well in group settings, I couldn't get a kill since rate of fire was slower then AR's and SMG's . Plus ammo capacity isn't so great, since most rifles holds small amount. What's 30% of 5 rounds? It's just more stuff we won't use but have to at some point to get the proficient on them.

If u like rifle put 4pc umbra with chest/overlord knee pads/ceska backpack with any talent what u like.M1 with boomerang/ for long range/ m1a cqb with boomerang for short range. Max crit chance for 60% rest crits. Sniper spec.I agree with striker meta it rifles doesn't feel great but with umbra it removes most of the issue with reload/chance and gives u some decent crit dmg and health regen.

I would like to see a damage set als alternative to striker. I can not see striker anymore. Or a different playstile. For example playing with a rifle and a set arround ist. Without to be forced to hit the head. To have more alternatives. Also their are so many sets which needs to be rebalanced, because nobody do play them. Breaking Point could do so. But its design is aweful. 10sec damagebonus AFTER a whole magazine... with a rifle and 15 shots its a buff of 30%. Thats nothing compared to the ARs oder SMG currently do. Why should i do so? This is weak as hell if you see the striker on the other side. And for MMR nothing if you play with detemerined and headhunter you do not need this. Currently i would say this is a set to use the 2nd or 3rd bonus but not the 4th. Like hotshot and the sniper-builds currently. I would recommend this changes: 2 Setbonus: does not need MMR, maybe Weaponhandlung or so... 3 Setbonus: Instead of headshotdamage add critdamage because Rifles attribut is critdamage. 4 Bonus: You gain a bonus of 1% damage and 2% CHD per bullet in max. magsize. Reloading a magazine adds 2% Weapondamage until the next reload or out of combat per empty bullet and increases the critdamage and Handling by 50% of the Critchance you have. With this changes the 4 Setbonus will give you with an M1A a Buff of 15% Weapondamage and 30% CHD (with 210% CHD and 60% CHC a Buff of 40% Damage) and after one complete empty magazine additional 30% Damage and additional 30% CHD (45%). So the 4 Setboni would buff it with arround +85% Damage done. Maybe give more CHD, because the higher the values, the lesser the damageincrease (210% CHD to 240% is not 30%*0,6=18% more Damage, instead it is (1+240%)*0,6 / (1+210%)*0,6 = 9,6%. The reason is: The difference between 100 to 120 is 20 or 20%. But the difference between 120 to 140 is 20, but no more 20%, instead its 16,667%. So giving 30, 60% More CHD sounds OP.. but it is not. Also this would buff the M16A2 which is unuseable because you can not aim properly because of the recoil during the autoshots and its damage. But with Magsize 50, this would perform much better than an M1A or other rifles with this set and so this set could give low damage rifles with high magazines reason to use. the gloves are not good. Because they are in concurrent with other items like groupo sombra, ceska, providence, fox knees and even the armorpenetration gloves. And as long as getting 55-60% CHC and as much CHD as possible and most of the time also the DOC-damage, the amout of slots we can use for other values is really limited.

Maaaaaan, what is up with these "rub your tummy and pat your head at the same time" gear sets? I haven't used any new sets since Heartbreaker. The astronomically rare instances the new gear and exotics need to work makes it pointless.
