For example on that other list Andre Waters was dirtiest player for the Philadelphia so how come on this list there's no Andre Waters dirty plays And for the 49ers it was Bill romanowski who was the dirtiest player in their history but on this list no Bill romanowski nowhere to be found. Plus this whole list is pretty much from the last 15 years. I'm quite sure there's plenty of dirty hits from the 60s 70s, 80s and 90s from each team.

Two things: 1. The type of hit that Tatum delivered on Stingley was common back in the day, but because it was Tatum delivering the hit, Stingley got paralzyed. Tatum was a human RPG. We've all seen the clip of him bringing wood to Earl Campbell on the goal line...from what I recall, Campbell said Tatum KO'd him, but he made it over the goal line on instinct. 2. Dick "Night Train" Lane. King of the clothes line before it was outlawed.

@@OneBadMOFO10 First off, I’m a Vikings fan, so I’m offended. Secondly that makes me think you think you’re tough.

Always thought the hit on Flacco was fine. A hard hit but he was obviously going for chest then Flacco slid which moved his head to where his chest was.

12:20 That's the big deal with Derek Stingley at LSU right now. His family has good history of athletics, but the last football player couldn't walk off the field of his last football game.

Some of these hits on the qb are bang bang plays. How can someone going full speed stop on a dime from not hitting a sliding qb And that Hopkins tackle was clean

The Ravens should've been when they were like breaking CJ 2ks back cause he was too good.

For the Bears, I would have chosen defensive end Ed Meadows putting Lion quarterback Bobby Layne out for the rest of the 1956 season with a very late blindside hit.

Bill Romanowski deliberately breaking Dave Meggetts finger is probably the dirtiest play in Denver’s history. That or when he booted Larry Centers in the face.

Teddy B clearly gave himself up, and that makes the hit bad... But that hit still surprises me that it knocked him out. Like, it doesn't look like that should've been the result

Kind of. Calling Vontaze Burfict the dirtiest player of all time is a stretch. In the 21st century, I wouldn't disagree.
