ALL FIRST ROUND PICKS •1998- #3- Andre Wadsworth/DE •1999- #8- David Boston/WR - #21- L.J. Shelton/OT •2001- #2- Leonard Davis/OT •2002- #12- Wendell Bryant/DT •2003- #17- Bryant Johnson/WR *We could've drafted Terrell Suggs but we traded the pick to Baltimore instead. Why can't my team EVER seem to make the correct decision for once? •2006- #10- Matt Leinart/QB •2007- #5- Levi Brown/OT •2009- #31- Chris 'Beanie' Wells/RB •2013- #7- Jonathan Cooper/OG •2014- #27- Deone Bucannon/S *...but HC Bruce Arians and the Arizona coaching staff moved him to LB after only 1 season playing safety. 2015- 112 tackles, 3 sacks, 2FR, 3FF, 3PD, 1INT(Pick 6). 2016- he started falling off of the proverbial cliff. He had 91 tackles and 4PD. In 2017, he missed a lot, if NOT all, if the season did to an ankle injury. He played 13 games in 2018 but only had 38 tackles, 1 sack, and 1FF. That was his last season in Arizona. So, would you consider him a bust if he had 2 solid seasons with Arizona? Uhmmm... yeah, I'd still say that he was a _BIG OLD BUST!!!_ haha •2016- #29- Robert Nkemdiche/DT •2018- #10- Josh Rosen/QB *This could very possibly be the team's _WORST DRAFT PICK EVER!!!... gODDAMN,_ did Rosen suck or what?... Danny Watkins 2011 was the Eagles worst 1st-round pick. Not only was he 27, but he was out of the league after three years. They also took him one pick ahead of Cameron freaking Jordan, who is very possibly a future Hall of Famer.

I have a hot take: Pat Mahomes would’ve been a bust if he was drafted by the Bears. The Bears were straight up awful on offense when Trubisky was drafted. And Mahomes wasn’t pro-ready straight outta college. Having that one year to learn under Alex Smith and with the guidance of Andy Reid is what made Mahomes a star. Mahomes went to the one place to unlock his whole potential and the whole AFC will be dreading that for some time. And I should know, I’m a Bengals fan.

I partially agree with this take. Mahomes would have been a bust if the Bears drafted him. The Bears offense was awful then and isn't much better now. However, KC isn't the only place Mahomes could have reached his full potential. Had he gone to New England and sat behind the GOAT, Mahomes still would have been a great quarterback.

As a Rams fan I disagree with Bradford being the pick. At least Bradford had a good rookie season, and then was injured a lot. I disliked the Greg Robinson pick before we ever made it and called him a bust before we ever drafted him because he had such a similar draft profile to Jason Smith another OT the Rams took with the second overall pick only 4 years earlier. It was literally repeating a recent mistake.

Carr? No. They had a very obvious plan and it involved Boseli (spelling?) in the expansion draft. Boseli was as injured as the Jaguars (or Panthers, I forget) thought, he never played a down, Carr never had a line, the NFL made fun of it in commercials, and Carr was ruined. He might have sucked anyways, but it wasn’t a mistake, just a gamble that didn’t work. The Texans have done far worse than Carr.

I still think 2017 was the Packers' biggest mistake of the century. Could've had TJ Watt and instead they trade down for Kevin King. Obviously it's impossible to prove these kinds of hypotheticals, but I think there's a decent chance they'd have at least one Super Bowl appearance, if not a win, in the Rodgers/LaFleur era if they stick at 29 and take Watt. I think 2020 in particular is a year where that seems plausible, given what happened with King that year and how close they came even so -- imagine if they had Watt on that line to get in Brady's face in the NFC Championship game. (Of course, this is assuming that taking Watt doesn't prevent them from e.g. signing the Smiths and drafting Rashan Gary, but that's always kind of a stumbling block on these alternate-reality scenarios anyway, so as we always do in these hypotheticals, let's just assume that one piece could be changed in isolation.)
