Streamliners and non-streamliners + EXILES THAT WERE KICKED OFF THE FEC! Also I swear that this time, I did NOT exclude locomotives, or got the wrong wheel type.
Here, I sum up every North American 4-6-2 Pacific type locomotive from North American railroads/railways, and yes, the PRR and their K4s are included

6:13 Should be Chicago and Northwestern, sorry, and also I missed two railroads and a streamliner, which I have now covered in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJyclpiej9OoqNU P.S. The previous guy who was pinned, Buccaneer Railfanning, was exposed as being a Sundowner from MGR:R. So his comment was removed.

For the 2-8-2 video you should mention the two Chinese SY steam locomotives in the United States (susquehanna 142 and New Haven 3025 have some interesting stories to them) and the single Chinese JS type 2-8-2 engine in the Boone and scenic valley railroad in Iowa. New Haven 3025 is the closest thing we have to a New Haven steam locomotive

8:49 Kansas City Southern H class 😎👌 That engine 808 has "The Flying Crow" passenger train emblem on its tender. *Some of the pacifics used on the Kansas City Southern's Flying Crow were equipped with unique air horns that were tuned to sound like the caw of a crow.* No one has ever attempted to replicate those horns ever since.

Great video as always! I'd like to highlight that the first N&W pacific shown looks just like a Pennsy engine, which could have something to do with the PRR owning the N&W for some time. There was even a brief period when the PRR owned the B&O around 1906, when I believe a PRR styled 2-8-0 was given B&O lettering.

As a Southern nerd, I'll explain to you why there was a streamlined Ps-4. There were actually three classes of pacific on the SOU (subsidiary's not included) Those being the P, P-1, Ps-2, and Ps-4. The first three classes were Light Pacifics, while the Ps-4's were heavy pacifics based on the USRA's design. The Ps-4 came in two batches, the 1923 and 1926 orders, which could be told apart by the fact that the 1923 engines didn't have Elesco Feedwater Heaters, had smaller tenders, and were delivered to the SOU in black (later repainted green by then president Fairfax Harrison in 1925). 1380 was of the 1923 batch, and originally came with Baker valve gear, but was converted to Walschaerts sometime in the 1930s. In May of 1941, the Southern introduced the Tennessean passenger train, a train jointly operated between the SOU and N&W between Washington D.C. to Lynchburg (SOU) and Bristol TN to Memphis (N&W). Even some of the J's of 1941 pulled the train on occassion when they weren't pulling the Pocahontas or Powhatan Arrow. 1380 was streamlined with a design made by the man himself, Otto Kuhler, at Spencer Shops in Spencer, North Carolina (just outside of Salisbury) that same year as a result, and would pull the train until the late 1940s when it was bumped off the train thanks to the arrival of diesels on the Southern. She was off the roster and scrapped by 1953, the only steam locomotive on the Southern to be streamlined.

Little River Railroad #110 holds a special place in my heart, I'm so glad that it made it on here! I basically grew up around that locomotive and I'm currently a volunteer on the Little River Railroad. She has quite the story to tell and is still going strong 113 years later! Although I can't promise you a head pat, if you're ever in southern Michigan, stop by and ride behind #110 during the operating season!

9:59 YEEEEAAAAAAH *Missouri Kansas Texas mentioned!!* This distinguished gentleman is an H-3c class pacific built by Lima in 1920. Like all the H-3s built by Alco and Lima, these engines were capable of 70mph, and pulled the Katy's passenger trains such as: The Katy Flyer, The Katy Limited And the two jointly run Frisco and Katy passenger trains: The Bluebonnet and The Texas Special. They were also the fastest and largest passenger engines on the Katy, until The Texas Special E7s showed up in the early 1950s. They were also the oldest and smallest locomotives pulling The Bluebonnet and The Texas Special when the Frisco's T54 mountains and 4500 class Northerns were built.

6:04 and 8:32 fun fact, those are the same type of locomotive *these are the Chicago & Alton's i-6 class pacifics. These engines pulled The Alton Limited during their time on the C&A.* These pacifics have parts seen on many Harriman pacifics such as those on the UP and SP. *after the C&A merged with the Gulf Mobile & Ohio in the 1940s, the i-6 class became the P-16 like the 5296, they had a gorgeous red paint scheme.* Unfortunately, 425 never wore that paint scheme as it originally came from the Gulf Mobile & Northern. Think of 425 as basically the GM&O's 290, two pacifics built with 425 surviving. *Rivarossi also made an ho scale model of a usra heavy pacific as a Chicago & Alton i-6 before they were reclassified as the P-16.*

*One engine i think you definitely should've mention is the Chicago & Northwestern E-2 pacifics* The E-2s were the biggest and fastest 4-6-2s on the CNW, capable of up to 108mph, these engines pulled the famous 400 back when it consisted of dark green pullmans. The were the Northwestern's greatest, but unfortunately the most forgotten CNW locomotives.

I wonder why Bangor and Arrostock were so anti preservation? They were in great shape and had plenty of steam engines and clearly cared for them. CNW E-3.....just why?(At that point they were too little to late) I would like to note that DMIR was primarily a Freight Railroad with only a little passenger traffic that dwindled through the years yet it still kept a few of them going till the end.
