Really fun idea here! It's crazy that there have already been 20 different NXT Takeovers! While I am partial to NXT Takeover Brooklyn 1, I feel like NXT Takeover Dallas and one of the very early Takeovers with Charlotte/Nattie and Tyson Kidd in the main event (maybe this was the second one?) also has a soft spot in my heart. I was privileged to be in attendance for both Takeover Chicago shows, and let me tell you, rewatching on the network does no justice to the absolute energy that was in the building on those nights. Especially for Pete Dunne vs. Tyler Bate. Most fans really hadn't a clue who these guys were, and by the end of the match, you couldn't hear anything except massive chants of "BRUISERWEIGHT!". It was a phenomenal match. As for Chicago II, well, nothing could have prepared us for that night. It was simply perfect in all aspects. Right down to the absolutely beautiful story telling that is Gargano vs. Ciampa. It's going to be a sad day when that feud ends and one or both has to go to main roster and probably never have a high profile match again.

Man that Takeover Dallas was so stacked. The only real black mark was the blood stoppages in the Joe match. So good in that docuseries about NXT HHH said joking cursed them for taking his order to make the show hard to follow too far. "I said make it hard to follow, not impossible." and sure enough the Wrestlemania after was just okay in comparison.
