I main Papyrus for a long time and honestly all opinions on him are valid due to how universal and unique his skins are from eachother. If someone is willing to grind him here is my brutally honest opinion and ranking of all the skins. I've decided to update this so I won't mislead anybody, I have studied terrible story's fall off and I must say that I've made a lapse in my judgement. 7: OuterTale Papyrus (Very outdated, not much to say about him. His great leap is just going to prolong your death. Tier: Unusable) 6: HorrorTale Papyrus (Same thing as OuterTale, he is still a post rework skin and lacks the attack pressure and damage. Tier: Very bad) 5: Terrible Story (Who ever decided to remove the healing from this guy on repells must be fired, IMMEDATLY! 🌩) 4: Snowdin Dustbelief (Overrated, slow and predictable attacks, horrible stamina usage. Unreliable and gets completely countered by any mobility tool/ability even the bravery soul. Tier: Bad) 3: UFR Papyrus (There is really just nothing to say about this guy... he lacks the blue bone map attack to protect him from rushes and that is quite literally it. Tier: Medicore) 2: Underworld Papyrus (Underworld is just base Papyrus but a little worse in my opinion. His kit is just not as good as base. Tier: Very good) 1: Classic (Papyrus is the safest pick. He is the only one that does not give you active drawbacks that is why I prefer him the most. Great leap does good damage and it's a amazing mobility tool. Tier: Very good)

(I quit being a papyrat main) dustbelief snowdin legit just has an instant kill or atleast 20 damage with that instant kill 2k exp on papyrus btw terrible story sucks

I main UFR Papyrus, yes. He is NOT in any ways good, but I just cannot stop using him. His theme, model, map, voice acting, and ‘buff’ just looks SO. INSANELY. GOOD. What I do is just juke. stall, and then I actually win a majority of the time. Once beat 2 cleavers with him.

Underworld paps has not only a FASTER great leap but it DOESNT COST STAMINA making it a free camping tool for a few seconds it even goes FURTHER than great leap for a juke tool

In terms of trapping, I’d like to recommend drip papyrus (dust swap emerald) as his bone trap (if it’s the one that’s a square) is much harder to deal with than dust’s.

i love papyrus so much, you can do so many strats and combos (normal papyrus ufr and underworld), i dont have much of an opinion with the dustbelief skins tho as i dont use them as much

Honestly pretty valid.. although, I think Underworld and maybe Papyrus should've been higher up than Terrible Story. He just gets rush-downed way too easily, especially with additions like the cleaver and such.

Papyrus may not be considered very viable but he is definitely the most fun to play. I just play as papyrus if I want a chill fun match and I feel like that’s what he is really meant for.

underworlds version of the leap is better and can do more damage ufr has a longer delay for the blue bones along with no lazy bone horror and outer don’t have the buffed bone move that ufr, underworld, and default have, (which heavily carry those 3)

I can't really play undertale as corridor because of my skill issues because I play as papyrus and then I get destroyed cuz that one sweat just won't die I can't even win when I'm on chara team cuz there's some guy with 5 million wins and always either plays his last breath or red and just won't die and I do agree with this video I'm just bad at the game because of my skill issues
