As a WVU fan who was at the game week 1, and I can confirm that beaver stadium is grossly overrated. They are constantly pumping music into there to make it seem louder. Swear I heard Mo Bamba 10 times and living on a prayer double that. Its a glorified concert with all the damn music. Let the kids play ball, and the fans cheer, and stop spamming music every down.

i think they play music a lot to keep the crowd in the game. football, if it were just played as it was with no music, is quite boring, but music helps hype the crowd up a lot of the time. i personally do enjoy the music and think that the sounds like “make some noise” or mo bomba helps to increase the crowd noise before/in between downs
