Did you guys know about the secret member of the Phantom Troupe, Tompa the rookie killer? It is heard that he can poison even the king of ants. Nobody can fight this guy. Chrollo is special but he is limited by using powers that he does not own. What I mean by this is that the only way for him to grow stronger is to steal more powers AND modify the conditions he has to use them. For everyone else in the series minus ants or super genius like Ging they have mostly one ability and variants of it that they train so it becomes stronger overtime. To me it feels like Chrollo is jack of all trades but master of none but he is so good at it that nobody can come close to beating him including the Zoldicks and Hisoka (but most likely with no prep it would have been much closer)

So many little things..... 1) The arm wrestling within the Troupe was done without Nen, so Chrollo's ranking has nothing to do with being a specialist. 2.) Franklin only ever cut off his finger tips because he thought it looked more intimidating to fire the bullets from severed finger. It's the resolve Frankin showed in this feat that made his technique stronger, which yes is a form of conditions. It was not a conscious act however, just a happy byproduct. 3.) Machi didn't sense Gon and Killua's Nen due to ineffective Zetsu. She actually admitted their zetsu was perfect as she couldn't sense them at all. The only reason she was aware they were being followed was her keen instincts. 4.) Kalluto's Zetsu is not superior to Killua, they both perfectly mastered Zetsu. Kalluto's superior stealth comes from his ability to physically move more silently (likely due to being far weaker physically and there in weighs significantly less). This IS an incredibly impressive feat however considering Killua moves so silently he could fool Melody's ear's, who could hear people over a mile away in the rain and distinguish both their numbers and genders respectively. 5.) Hisoka may be able to defeat Shalnark's auto-pilot ability, but it certainly wouldn't be through hand to hand combat, he would be broken to pieces. Even Uvo wouldn't be able to stand up to auto-pilot's raw power (Though Uvo would ultimately outlast it none the less). 6.) Nobunaga is stated to be able to beat Uvo in 1 on 1 combat. 7.) Feitan's pain packer doesn't actually physically use the nen used to harm them (whereby in a scenario like Chrollo, he IS physically stealing the nen ability). Feitan's painpacker simply uses a condition that makes it stronger based off the amount of damage he received. Also the limit to this ability would be the amount of damage Feitan could sustain and live through.... not limitless. 8.) Phinx's technique is not to 'put more of his nen into his arm' with every rotation, it's simply useing a condition to increase his already max amount of aura concentrated through Ko, for every time he cranks his arm. As such, the limit to this ability is not Phinx's max nen, it would be whatever point Phinx could charge it to without blowing his own arm off. 9.) Chrollo's stolen techniques disappearing upon the creators death wasn't actually a self imposed restriction, it's simply a natural condition of the technique. If it were a self imposed condition, then Sun and Moon wouldn't have remained beyond the users death even despite the Nen after death thing. The fact chrollo's stolen abilities disappear when the original creator does, is simply a byproduct of how his technique works, as it continues to physically use the sealed nen of the other person, which ceases to exist at death normally. I think that's about it in terms of provable errors, which honestly considering this is a hunter x hunter video and how incredible complicated the minutiae of that show truly is..... is not actually that many considering the number of characters you covered. Most creators would have gotten like at least twice that many.

This guys stuff is ok. There’s a TON of head cannon and lots of errors in teal or not. But he seems to enjoy the stuff he covers.

@@13thCloverr Also the Ant who killed Ponzu, Mr spikey mcbuttface. Actually I think the only one who doesn't fight at least a lieutenant level one would be Kalluto. That seemed to be the only one who couldn't use Nen at all. Even with Phinx, I can't imagine him not injuring a Nen-less soldier ant with a regular nen enhanced attack. Generally a Good rule of thumb seems based off how Ant like they look vs how much they look like other animals.

Fun fact: When Bonolenov used his Jupiter ability, the classical piece 'Jupiter' by composer Gustav Holst from the Planets suite played in the actual anime. I noticed this when I was watching and immediately recognized the music since the suite is one of my favorites. I loved the subtle nod to classical music there!

Pakunoda's power has so much potential! The psychological attacks she could inflict on people. Like, imagine you have two people who went through the same very traumatic experience. Like Killua and Gon with Kite. Depending on how far back she can reach, she could potentially extract each of their memories and shot the other with it. Effectively making them both relive the same experience, just from each other's perspective. This also gets around her shooting someone with their own memory and erasing it. Not only could this be used to absolutely break someone, it would also be an effective distraction. She could also just grab a random persons traumatic memory and shot if at someone else, potentially temporarily overwhelming them!

I'd like that but two problems come to mind: 1) we don't know enough about all of them yet, and 2) most of them seem pitifully underwhelming to the point they aren't even comparable with the Troupe. Their designs suck so bad I don't even care about them.

Some of them are stronger some are weaker. If we are counting the zodiac from the election arc, the batobai, miziastorm are more likely stronger than the average phantom member. Ging and pariston are stronger than all of them except arguably chrollo and even then ging is probs stronger than him. The sheep and monkey are also likely equal to phantom troupe members. Remember, morel, and know are considered elite hunters and are a step below zodiac, and they put up a good fight against the royal guards and we see how good they are at fighting and adapting. We just haven't seen enough from the zodiac to put them below the phantom troupe but from what we've seen, (pariston, ging, mizaistorm, Cheadle, etc.) They are smart and strong, after all they sparred with netero at times. Mizaistorm in the manga is relatively on the same level at kurapika (not as smart but he is pretty damn smart). The average phantom troupe member is likely around the same level as a zodiac, its just chrollo that is stronger than most of the zodiac, barring, ging pariston and maaaaybe batobai one if the few triple star hunters.
