I was gonna say what about the secret fourth style called "fighting smart" but then I remembered that this is the tsb community we're talking about, and they consider fighting smart to be and i quote "running" and "block spamming". Fighting smart is simple, play more passive or defensively when your low on health, and go in for the kill when your not low. You kind of treat the fight more like a boss fight, where you actually care about staying alive rather than risking your head trying to kill your opponent at all times.

If you played any fighting game out of Roblox, like MK, Street Fighter or Dragon Ball Fighterz, you already understand that Agressive playstyle is the #1. Not leaving any openings to the enemy and keeping them in the defensive at all times is the key for some COLD kills. Some examples are sticking to True Combos, and baiting the opponent's ragdoll cancel as soon as possible, so you can combo them freely for 30 seconds straight. Like I said, don't leave ANY openings, by making them think "I have to get off his hands first!" But not letting them do so, so they can't do anything about it. This is why garou players like Humbled can kill people in 1v1s so fast, not even letting them attack, let alone doing combos.

My general play style: Passive I just jump to avoid ANY attempts at side dashes and just do a full combo after purposely wasting their Ragdoll cancel. Flow state: Passive I’ll start weaving by walking sideways in random directions at random times, no dashes needed. Then I’ll immediately use a moveset after purposely putting myself in “front dash distance”. Like you said, I’ll even side dash and quickly use ignition burst with my back turned on them. “such a horrible day” state: Passive + Aggressive Everything from the passive playstyle will be highly pressed on to the opponent until that hatred is toned down and reverts back to the general playstyle.

i personally started playing the “counter” style after about 7k kills, and it is EXTREMELY good, for example, if someone is ragdolled from you and you don’t anything to follow up with, m1 on top of their corpse once or twice then counter, 85% they will fall for it, and adapting to blocking their side dashes is very rewarding

Depending on how you look at it, there could be many more playstyles. Some notable ones are - neutral (player is not good enough to have a playstyles or just does not play in a certain way) - zoner (player never engages battle and always use blitz shots and jet dive to chip away at your hp) - troller (pretty much like counter based, but try always try to make you mad by baiting counter, using weird inescapable long combos, and randomly switches up playstyles). Now if you say I'm hating on people that are troll playstyles, I am one myself.

As a person who gets called "passive" all the time, I have a feeling this guy hates passive cuz I always attack with side dashes and sometimes circle front dash but since my defense is really high I get called a passive all the time and tbh idc its my playstyle. And FYI I'm a SAITAMA passive. So i dont walk backwards cuz that character has zero range. I just play it slow and keep my defense up without doing random dashes trying to catch them off guard like most people do. So I would say, in a match between me and an aggressive player, I would probably win cuz I dont just block, I side dash over to them when they are off guard. It takes skill to be a passive. As an aggressive you attack and hope they dont counter or punish you for it. Edit: I think I'm a counter player actually. Or a mix of both passive and counter.

ill rant for a bit in tsb, there are 2 types of players (we dont need the counter 007 bullshit), passive players, and aggressive players. passive players wait for their opponent to make a move, and aggressive players usually start the fight first. i have recommendations for both of em: a. passive players: learn the way they block. imo try to twist your dash, making them think that we're trying to dash behind them, but instead just twist the mouse back to their front, leaving them exposed. also, make your moves snappy and random, as to make them harder to predict you. passive players usually use genos, so if youre fighting a passive genos user, whenever they side dash, hold block to not get placed off-guard if they hit a blitz shot. if all that doesnt work, *may the lord have mercy on your soul.* all in all, its better to unpredictable, and read their movements and how they block b. aggressive players: these players oftentimes or always start the battle, by either a front dash, a side dash, backdash, or a sidedash to move (side dash to flowing water for example). to counter these players, always keep your distance, be wary of their moves, and use characters with counters like Hero Hunter or Atomic Samurai. these players often never use ragdoll cancel as to not get baited, but sometimes will use it if your predictable, which is why the next tip is to not be predictable. switch your playstyles, and try to coordinate your movements. jump a lot, bait them with a trick dash. and bait their counters if they have one. Summary: read people. if they play passively, read them thoroughly, predict how they block and how they would predict you, and do some double crossing or triple crossing or whatever, and get ready to get your ass locked on if theyre using genos. for aggressive players, its better to keep your distance, bait their cancels and counters, and strike down at the right moment

For anyone still not knowing what a counter play style is, it’s literally just passive aggressive. Meaning the patience and ways to outsmart the opponent like a passive player in your heavy reads and counter attacks. But also that sense of surprise attacks and swift side dashes to catch opponents off guard after a bad move like an aggressive player. If you are a passive player, chances are you aren’t actually a passive player, rather counter play-style or passive aggressive. If you actually are a passive player, it is FINE I repeat, it is OKAY to be a passive player, it’s just what suits you best and don’t just change your play-style just because the community. Use and play how you want and how you perform best and if people get mad it’s their problem since there’s a ton of videos on how to counter passive player simply because of sheer hatred that they could watch.

I use that :D For my experience Predict playstyle oftenly is mix of counter and passive player Where they not too much close distance yet not too much of a runner Predicting their opponents moves, and even able to do it with moveset that had no counter skill, and oftenly, me (i swear i am) i land a counter but i just side dash to my oppenent, trying to predict my opponent that use garou or atomic to counter and usually cancel on mid combo when they feel their opponent is spamming their counter moves, in order to bait them, that gives them chance of landing extra m1 and continue the combo without worrying about their opponent counter They do aggresive but not much of it Just running around, goes to their opponent, stopping their combo on mid of the combo just trying to bait their opponent's counter And it had high risk just if their opponent didn't fall for it, they can be outsmarted, bait to counter, and get cooked

My fighting style in almost every game is very agressive. Being agressive in multiplayer is very good to stress out your opponent and I usually strive at close range even in games like minecraft and hollow knight. But minecraft has another dimention to fights which I adore and that is prep time. I ALWAYS come to fight better prepared than my enemies. When we have equal armor I use potions of turtle master and strength. One time we had war event on my server with friends and I managed to get out of 4v1 and kill two people in the process only thanks to turtle master potions and lava. When you go agressive it's easier for your enemies to mess up. By the way I adore this 4v1 story since it's my best feat in pvp I guess since 1v1s go rather quick because of the combos and moving

i am a mix of all of the play styles, and basically, i do not abuse the S Block thing (where you walk back while holding block), i barely block, i'm the type of guy "fxck blocking, we ball" and attack but mess up most the time for my passive side: if i need to wait for my abilities cd, i weave around, confuse the enemy, and once any of my moves are off cd, i go aggro and try to manage my cd well aggressive side: so basically, have slow moves and once i trick the enemy into predicting it, then yeah... if i even get to land a combo bruh counter: i suck at M1 trading, but i basically SOMEHOW use counterattacks at some near perfect timings, such as a ranged attack (if my close ranged moves are on cd) if my enemy messes up, but i barely do that i barely show my counter side and commonly aggro

Passive style isn’t really spamming… (I know you made it clear, I just want to make it crystal clear) Passive is a direct counter to aggressive players (except for over aggressive players like sweats or tryhards) The reason players use passive is: 1: They are mobile and dash tech is hard for them (I’m mobile, I can confirm that) 1.1: The mobile buttons are odd (\_(ツ)_/ Idk if anyone has the same issue, I have original settings and buttons on 1.5x size) 2: it’s less risky unlike the aggressive style (most aggressive players I have fought don’t understand evasive properties, so I just ball with evasive punishment)

Agressive is the best for me, it litteraty fits me, now if im in a 1v2 then im still mostly still aggressive but also still most passive cuz u gotta be careful, but ye im aggressive tbh

I’m a passive player most of the time (sometimes a joker) and I can explain why I play how I do. I use Genos often sonic sometimes and atomic samurai very little. I do this because I’m used to the ranged characters. I found out close ranged do high damage but almost never hit anything. Far ranged do decent damage and often block break without risk. I use Genos and I play passive. I play passive and I’m hated for it but absolutely nobody actually plays it when they hate it. People should play it to understand how it works. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY AGGRESSIVE WITH GENOS AND SONIC. You will always be blocked when using that. Playing aggressive with sonic? You will be spam blocked. Playing aggressive with Genos? Your m1s are too slow and you get m1 traded. Atomic samurai? Your moves can get blocked, your m1s are slightly slower than normal (faster than Genos but slower than normal), and on top of that, if you flop you lose a lot of health for no damage. This shows it is impossible to play aggressive with sonic Genos and atomic samurai. Overall, it’s best to just play either passive or Joker. Btw Joker is kinda like counter except way more strange with your movements. One moment you’re passive, one moment you’re aggressive, one moment you’re passive aggressive, another moment you’re spamming back dash twirl and spamming moves just to randomly attack. When playing joker you also start playing bad at the start then immediately become your actual skill level the moment you start to lose. It makes people get thrown off and it’s just a way to confuse players giving a great advantage in game.

As a passive player, I main literally every character (Except Sonic and Metal bat), but mostly Saitama lol. I also like to put it up close and personal… so I guess i'm a passive-aggressive hybrid lol
