As a person who gets called "passive" all the time, I have a feeling this guy hates passive cuz I always attack with side dashes and sometimes circle front dash but since my defense is really high I get called a passive all the time and tbh idc its my playstyle. And FYI I'm a SAITAMA passive. So i dont walk backwards cuz that character has zero range. I just play it slow and keep my defense up without doing random dashes trying to catch them off guard like most people do. So I would say, in a match between me and an aggressive player, I would probably win cuz I dont just block, I side dash over to them when they are off guard. It takes skill to be a passive. As an aggressive you attack and hope they dont counter or punish you for it. Edit: I think I'm a counter player actually. Or a mix of both passive and counter.

If you played any fighting game out of Roblox, like MK, Street Fighter or Dragon Ball Fighterz, you already understand that Agressive playstyle is the #1. Not leaving any openings to the enemy and keeping them in the defensive at all times is the key for some COLD kills. Some examples are sticking to True Combos, and baiting the opponent's ragdoll cancel as soon as possible, so you can combo them freely for 30 seconds straight. Like I said, don't leave ANY openings, by making them think "I have to get off his hands first!" But not letting them do so, so they can't do anything about it. This is why garou players like Humbled can kill people in 1v1s so fast, not even letting them attack, let alone doing combos.

My general play style: Passive I just jump to avoid ANY attempts at side dashes and just do a full combo after purposely wasting their Ragdoll cancel. Flow state: Passive I’ll start weaving by walking sideways in random directions at random times, no dashes needed. Then I’ll immediately use a moveset after purposely putting myself in “front dash distance”. Like you said, I’ll even side dash and quickly use ignition burst with my back turned on them. “such a horrible day” state: Passive + Aggressive Everything from the passive playstyle will be highly pressed on to the opponent until that hatred is toned down and reverts back to the general playstyle.

I was gonna say what about the secret fourth style called "fighting smart" but then I remembered that this is the tsb community we're talking about, and they consider fighting smart to be and I quote "running" and "block spamming". Fighting smart is simple, play more passive or defensively when your low on health, and go in for the kill when your not low. i personally started playing the “counter” style after about 7k kills, and it is EXTREMELY good, for example, if someone is ragdolled from you and you don’t anything to follow up with, m1 on top of their corpse once or twice then counter, 85% they will fall for it, and adapting to blocking their side dashes is very rewarding

The video have explained to us about the 3 major styles used in combats in TSBG. As everyone is saying they're a hybrid for being able to do it all, it is quite true, yet not really too. Even though you used all of the styles mentioned, your strength would be more apparent in one or two of the styles as every player have different stats and focus when engaging fights. My point in this is that you should try to focus on what style fits you the most as it'll be easier practicing a fighting style you're good at depending on your reaction time, skill set, prediction precision, range and combos. Depending on how you look at it, there could be many more playstyles. Some notable ones are - neutral (player is not good enough to have a playstyles or just does not play in a certain way) - zoner (player never engages battle and always use blitz shots and jet dive to chip away at your hp) - troller (pretty much like counter based, but try always try to make you mad by baiting counter, using weird inescapable long combos, and randomly switches up playstyles). Now if you say I'm hating on people that are troll playstyles, I am one myself.

I'll be honest. In my experience, Atomic Samurai is the best character to play, even more with Counter Playstyle. I've got 7k kills by only being a main Atomic (I have 10k now). I've seen hundreds of people trying and trying, but once you master it, you're a total beast. Except one thing: If you're getting teamed, I only recomend to use him against 3 players max if you know they aren't really good. If not, change to Garou or Suiryu.

For anyone still not knowing what a counter play style is, it’s literally just passive aggressive. Meaning the patience and ways to outsmart the opponent like a passive player in your heavy reads and counter attacks. But also that sense of surprise attacks and swift side dashes to catch opponents off guard after a bad move like an aggressive player. If you are a passive player, chances are you aren’t actually a passive player, rather counter play-style or passive aggressive. If you actually are a passive player, it is FINE I repeat, it is OKAY to be a passive player, it’s just what suits you best and don’t just change your play-style just because the community. Use and play how you want and how you perform best and if people get mad it’s their problem since there’s a ton of videos on how to counter passive player simply because of sheer hatred that they could watch.

ill rant for a bit in tsb, there are 2 types of players (we dont need the counter 007 bullshit), passive players, and aggressive players. passive players wait for their opponent to make a move, and aggressive players usually start the fight first. i have recommendations for both of em: a. passive players: learn the way they block. imo try to twist your dash, making them think that we're trying to dash behind them, but instead just twist the mouse back to their front, leaving them exposed. also, make your moves snappy and random, as to make them harder to predict you. passive players usually use genos, so if youre fighting a passive genos user, whenever they side dash, hold block to not get placed off-guard if they hit a blitz shot. if all that doesnt work, *may the lord have mercy on your soul.* all in all, its better to unpredictable, and read their movements and how they block b. aggressive players: these players oftentimes or always start the battle, by either a front dash, a side dash, backdash, or a sidedash to move (side dash to flowing water for example). to counter these players, always keep your distance, be wary of their moves, and use characters with counters like Hero Hunter or Atomic Samurai. these players often never use ragdoll cancel as to not get baited, but sometimes will use it if your predictable, which is why the next tip is to not be predictable. switch your playstyles, and try to coordinate your movements. jump a lot, bait them with a trick dash. and bait their counters if they have one. Summary: read people. if they play passively, read them thoroughly, predict how they block and how they would predict you, and do some double crossing or triple crossing or whatever, and get ready to get your ass locked on if theyre using genos. for aggressive players, its better to keep your distance, bait their cancels and counters, and strike down at the right moment

My playstyle is either passive or aggresive: - i like baiting people to block and m1 by fake front dashing, then hit them once they m1 because its stuns them for a but. - i dont straight up attack defensive players, i wait for them to stop blocking and immediatly side dash behind them to get a hit.

I most likely Play with all of the play style like switching between the Play style according to how skilled my opponent is but i recommend observeing the opponent movement and adapting to it

aggressive playstyle is deadly with sonic, you just can't lose, you always do the pressure and NOT run, i would say even sonic + agro is better than sonic + passive

Something i récomend, go aggresive at first, but when you stop being comfortable with your health And cooldowns, go passive

The Best Playstyle is probably a mix between Counter and Aggressive. Best of Both Worlds.
