See one thing about the weapons is that most players choose something that is hyped up as a meta pick instead of actually using the weapons for their level or wallet. It would be refreshing to see people use different and more unique weapons

Yeah the game becomes a looot more boring when you're a high level, the excessive and repetitive grind just gets rid of all the dopamine the game could provide.

So far my favorite guns have been the M1 Garand (fast reload and handles well), Mosin-Nagant (doesn't shoot fast but the high damage and decent punch compensate, also super fast reload), SPAS-12 (it's a shotgun and has a tight enough spread that you can snipe with it, fast firerate too, handles well overall), M60 and MG42 (with heavy hitter, steady hand, and brisk it's just a nobrainer), RPG (I do not need to explain why this is a good gun 😂), Winchester 1892 (it's literally just the SPAS-12 with a bigger mag, better punch, and somewhat faster reload). Out of the secondaries the Oberez Mosin (great with the Mosin Nagant because it's the same gun specs wise), Desert Eagle (it's the only other bullet based secondary that doesn't suck), M320 (best secondary, no contest really).

If you play on Regular, M60 is good enough, MG42 is overkill, so get the RPG. If you play on any other game mode then get MG42.

If you like stale gameplay that is point and click and have no risk at all, go for the MG42. If you want to have fun playing the game, and see large masses of bodies go flying, pick the RPG

Depends what your current primary and secondary is. Assuming you have M60 and a decent secondary like the python or HK P30L, I'd say go for it if you want
