Jin is not that easy. We forgot about all these piss easy waifu characters like Asuka, Alisa and Jun and some more probably. Add a whole array of gimmicks these characters have and i dont know why all of you slander Jin when all of those exist while requiring 0 brain to play

@@Goobster56 He is better on a tier list but he is harder than the waifus i named. Yeah, he is potentially better, but you need to have actual tekken fundamentals to use the strong tools the character has to their fullest potential. Waifus dont really need those, they just do their tools anyway, they get a lot of value out of their tools just for pressing them no matter how and when. Waifus check your opponent for their tekken fundamentals and matchup knowledge meanwhile jin and other characters test YOUR tekken fundamentals. Like lets take asuka's and jin's parry for example. When you parry with Jin, you need to consider which attack it is, if its a string and if it is, how many hits does that string have in order to do multiple parries, and when you finally parry it while also requiring a rather precise timing, you will have to consider how minus that specific move you parried is. And after all of that you may not even get a punish after that parry. What does asuka have to consider when she presses her parry? Her reward is always the same, so she doesnt give a damn about what attack was pressed against it (talking about parriable attacks of course), she can delay it so not only her timing window is REALLY lenient, she can also mix up those timings to make it even dumber, placing the responsibility of actually having a brain on to the opponent, not the asuka. That is a specific example but we can find more examples of this. Jin is good, but you still need to know how to play tekken to utilise his kit well. When the player has the fundamentals, Jin's tools really shine and make Jin's movelist one of the most complete in the game, which is really strong. Meanwhile Asuka, Jun, Alisa can go unga-bunga all the way to God of Destruction and not particularly care about spending time in practice mode. A new player will achieve way more way faster with a gimmicky waifu than with Jin.
