14:16 Going to try to explain this the best I can, but basically when a blue shell comes during the last lap, anyone that hasn't passed the last lap and is the closest to it will get hit. If the blue shell is summoned in time before 1st place closes in the final lap, it will still target them even after they passed the line. Because Leland had distance and finished sooner than when the blue shell would be intentionally for him, it would then go to Mark who had 2nd place, the current highest place that hasn't finished.

You know, this has been bothering me for a while - so I thought I'd share. In the *F-Zero* stage, there's no coins on the track. Coins help you maintain and keep a lead by raising your top speed. The coins are hidden on the purple strips in that stage, you can get them by driving on those strips which only appear in certain spots on the stage. That's all I wanted to share. Good video🙏
